Those of you who have suggested that I should try talking with my neighbor should know; my neighbor does not like me.
Even so, surely if the cats are fighting, he would want to keep his one out of danger? His cat is intruding on your property, causing harm to both cats, so surely the onus of responsibility is on him. You should try talking it out and if he is unresponsive, threaten to spray his cat with something disguting... or something.
Well the only thing he could really do is keep his cat from going out which is about as reasonable as him demanding I remove my cat door to keep his cat out.

1. Lie in wait with a water pistol (or hose, if available indoors)
2. ambush the neighbour's cat, making loud noises and shooting it with said pistol
3. ???
4. Profit.

I think if you spread a little bit of chilli powder, or some substance along those lines on your lawn, it keeps cats away. But seriously, just tell your neighbours to keep their cat off of your property

Ethnics is cat!

Engage with a rifle. Problem solved, if that doesn't work and you wouldn't like those pesky police coming to your home, try spraying the neighbors cat whenever it enters the catflap (be patient it will work).

I have seen cat doors before, that have a special collar, and will only unlock for cat's wearing the collar. I can't remember them being too expensive, but sounds good for your situation, so might wanna try find one.

However, you would have to clean up.

Get a water pistol. If the intruder cat comes in, squirt it a few times, it'll soon give up.

Alternatively, get more cats of your own, so they gang up on the intruder.

My cat hates every other animal on earth. More cats would make things worse.

Scatter some cat repellent granules around the boundaries of your yard. It should keep the neighbor's cat off of your lawn, and keep your cat in. This is assuming your cat is willing to stay in your yard.

Step 1: get a sledgehammer
Step 2: find the spot on the cat where its spine is between its shoulderblades
Step 3: aim at said spot
Step 4: swing hammer
Step 5: get shovel
Step 6: bury cat 5 miles away
Step 7: deny everything

Keep your kitty inside, and lock the cat flap so cats can't come in from the outside... and your problem should be solved... this happened to me once, I did that and it worked.

This. It works, cat's hate water a-lot (as you probably know) and if you drench the bastard with a bucket, he won't be coming back soon.
But the cat came back, the very next day
The Cat came back, I thought it was a goner,
But the cat came back
It just couldn't stay away
Meow

Sorry. Old school there

That's what I did.

I'd suggest talking to your neighbour. Or everytime the pussy comes round, shoo it back out straight away, it'll get the picture soon.
Please, please don't hurt it or throw water on it :( that would really upset me.
Cats also don't like citrus smells, such as lemon and orange juice, so perhaps leaving some peel outside the door might keep it away?
This. If you hurt the kitty, I will find you... and I will kill you. (Anyone get the reference?)
It doesn't hurt the "kitty", it just... annoys it.

Cats will survive being thrown off any floor higher than the 7th (they can apparently glide...).

...or just lock the cat outside. It's a cat.
