I just downloaded Knothole Island from Xbox Live Marketplace (free version). I fired up Fable 2 and found out that I would need the premium version to travel to Knothole Island. What is the friggin point of having a free version THAT'S THE SAME SIZE as the premium version, but needs the premium version to play. This is Fable 2's biggest disgrace since the chest that contains the items your ancestors left behind.

Seriously.

WTF?!

Well if I'm understanding you correctly, you need to pay for the DLC like you do in most games.
Well yes, but then what's the point of even having the free DLC?

That's what it says. But what's the point of having Knothole Island co-op if you cant travel there?!

Eh I don't know. I have no idea WHY they would do it, but from what I could understand, that's what's going on.

Ok

The free DLC is so people who DON'T have the real DLC can join their friends in co-op, but to do it alone you need to pay for the DLC.

It's so that you can still play co-op and trade.

That way, if you join someone's game, and they're in Knothole Island, then you'll be able to be there.

They aren't going to give you free stuff dude.

It's really quite simple.

Your friend has the premium Knothole Island DLC. You have the free pack. You jump into his world - he can travel to Knothole Island and bring you along, but as per usual co-op only he will be able to collect rewards for completing quests. You'll only be able to assist.
Ordinarily, if you don't have the free pack, he wouldn't be able to take you to knothole Island at all.

So if you ctually want to play the new quests, pay for the premium pack like you would any other DLC and get over it.

So its only for if one of you have paid. OK then

Well you get some frebies, its weird its the same size but not anything to worked up over. They do say you need to pay to get the island, so its more user error than bullshit.
