Indiana Jones and his party are trying to escape the temple before the volcanoe erupts destroying the rickety rope bridge. The volcanoe will erupt in just 19 minutes. However it's dark and they only have one torch so only two people may cross at a time and then they have to go get the others. Indy takes 2 minutes to cross, Sarah Lee the suprisingly hot geologist who is acts with superiority to Jones and try's to ignore him but has found herself deeply taken in by his boyish and rugged charm takes three minutes. The small ethnic boy takes 5 minutes to cross and the old man who told Indy where the temple was before bieng kidnapped by a group of terroristsnazi'saliens tribal warriors takes 8 minutes.
Wow, that was a good one. I think I figured it out:
1) Send Indy and Sarah across (3 minutes)
2) Send Indy back (2 minutes, 5 total)
3) Send Boy and Old man across (8 minutes, 13 total)
4) Send Sarah back (3 minutes, 16 total)
5) Send Indy and Sarah across (3 minutes, 19 total)
Edit: My own contribution-
Four mathematicians are captured by their arch nemesis and buried up to their necks in sand. Three of them are lined up in a row so that they can only see the head or heads of the person or people in front of them (person 1 can see 2 and 3, person 2 can see 3, person 3 can see nothing). The fourth is behind a wall, and can't see or be seen.
1 2 3 || 4
Person 1 and person 3 are given black hats. Person 2 and person 4 are given white hats. The nemesis tells the mathematicians that there are two black hats and two white hats, and if any one of them can correctly determine the color of their own hat, he will let all of them go. There can be no communication.
Who figures out their hat color and how do they do so?

My personal favorite is the scene in Die Hard: With a Vengeance where they have to get exactly 4 gallons of water with a 3 gallon jug and a 5 gallon jug before time runs out and a bomb explodes.
Here's a video:
And the full solution:
First completely fill the 5 gallon jug, then pour 3 gallons into the other jug. Dump the water in the 3 gallon jug and then pour the remaining 2 gallons into the 3 gallon jug. Fill the 5 gallon jug again and pour exactly one more gallon into the 3 gallon jug. Congratulations! Exactly 4 gallons in a 5 gallon jug.
Really, a lot of this movie is really cool riddles, inlcluding the famous St. Ives one.

person number 2. If he had a black hat, then person number 1 would have been able to figure out his own colour, since the two in front of him have black, he must have white. If person #2 had a white hat, person number 1 would say nothing, therefore he would have a white hat
