Joseph Kony is number 1 on the international criminal court's most wanted list and over several years he has committed atrocities in Uganda. This is to spread awareness and hopefully raise support for his arrest. Here is a link to the video explaining this since I don't know how to embed

I'll credit you on it btw:]. Also, to embed videos, you gotta do (youtube=), with the '(' being '[' and ')' being ']'. After the '=' you copypasta what's after the 'watch=' in the youtube link.

...hope that makes sense:p.

How can someone justify a campaign of murder and suffering to create a society based on the 10 FREAKING Commandments? Dude's whacked, and needs to be whacked.

Hell, the more threads the better. If Americans are gonna police the world, we might as well do it right.

Actually Blueberry he posted it before you, although yours is the only one that has relevant comments so I guess that's the one that will stick.

The "Some people just want to watch the world burn" quote applies here.

I probably wouldn't worry too much about him for long.

He probably has AIDS.

Whether he does or not, you can be your ass he has the money for antiretroviral meds, unlike the people he oppresses and rapes/murders.

I don't mean to sound heartless here but I'm about to anyway.

Why does it matter? What's the difference between this guy and African Warlord #2521? Why is he so terrible compared to the many others down there. Let's say we take this guy out...what then? African Warlord #2522 gets to step into place and does the same thing. If we stick around, how long will the public opinion stay positive when it sees day after day our soldiers being killed in the middle of no where for a country that no one really cares about?

Other countries can't police the world (as I'm sure certain war-torn Middle Eastern countries have shown). It's unfortunate but I really don't see what you want us to do about this...

America steps in; we're horrible people trying to push our beliefs on the world.
America stays out of it; we're horrible people for not trying to put a stop to genocide.

It sucks. It really really sucks. It'd be nice if we could walk in, take out the bad guy, then give the people the government and it'll all work out. But this is real life and it just doesn't work that way.

The thing that makes him worse than anyone else is that he kidnaps children during the night.
The boys become soldiers.
The girls become sex slaves.
He is NUMBER ONE on the ICC.
The reason he doesn't seem bad is because no one knows. The campaign is to make him famous so that he will be stopped.

EDIT:
Oh and America isn't trying to police here. We are only sending people in to help them get trained to be able to track him. If you watch the Youtube video by Invisible Children you will know that until they got hundreds of thousands of supporters the Government did NOTHING because there was no threat to the American people or the economy. The only reason they got involved was because of the support by the people to get him out of there. This wasn't a government hey this guy is bad lets go get him like the middle east. This was HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people speaking out to get him gone.

Also this man is acting alone and he has gathered several thousands adults as well as children and forced them to fight for his selfish ways. If we take him done, there is far less a chance that someone will immediately take his place to continue his bidding.

It's understandable that the government (specifically here in the U.S.) hasn't touched on it fully. They have so many issues already that are happening within our own country. If the people can voice their opinions on this. The government should turn their attention to all this. Simply getting this man's name out is enough for people to get interesting in figuring out whats going on and hopefully get involved in stopping him.

I think number 2 on the ICC list if the flash from the video I saw is to be believed then its another person from Uganda probably Kony's second in command. But I do agree cut off the head and kill the beast.

I understand and totally agree with you. I tried telling this to people on facebook, but the only thing they could come up with was "atleast were doing something about" which I think they weren't. If you really want to stop this shit in Africa, dont support killing one guy, support setting up a stable government in these places. As I always say "Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day but teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime".
