well i was talking more about town layout. however, the fact still stands that we dont build curvy stuff normally. it's just not our mentality. l4d2 is based in new orleans and new orleans isn't made up of curvy buildings as we dont build curvy cities. cities are normally built around natural resources or strategic positions, not built to look curvy and pretty. so if its based on a real city, then it will be blocky and ugly most of the time.
I dunno... most media images we get from the States tend to be pretty curvy...

The game runs like shit on my computer, but in spite of the poor graphical performance I still had a ton of fun with the demo. I've never played the first one because, so I can't really compare the two, but I can say that while I had fun with it, the performance wasn't good enough for me to buy it full price.

advertisements. you dont go to another nation to see a giant block building, you go to see the pretty building which are few and very far between from what i've seen. if you want to see what a US city looks like, play GTA IV and look around. aint pretty i can tell you.
I was joking there, I meant curvy ladies.

I know buildings in the States are angular and all, I just felt the graphics could have been better. It felt like badly glued together boxy geometry as opposed to an immersive world.

I really liked the demo, even though I was a bit meh about the first game.

The gore is awesome, the new special infected are pretty nice. The new melee weapons are cool (can't wait for the chainsaw ), I like it being more at daytime rather then night. Can't wait to try out the new game mode (scavenge)

I'm probably going to get the full game as soon as it comes out, already got my 3 co-op buddies ready to play with :)
