The Mimic - A special infected that blends in the background by changeing color and always hides around special items (health packs, guns, upgrades).

The Big Boy - A special infected that is slow and BIG and usually blocks a very narrow path or door. He's immune to gun fire and can only be killed by melee attacks.

The Robber - A special infected that is very weak but is fast. He jumps on you and automatically steals all of your items, melee weapons and half of your ammo.

The Queen - A special infected that spawns endless amounts of all the other special's while she sings. They don't stop comming unless you kill her or she finishes her song. If you kill her mid song the specials in the area already called will stop in confusion for a short moment.

The Leech - A special infected that hides in the sewer pipes, manholes in the streets and trys to pull you down into the sewer causeing instant death. You can tell where one is by looking for glowing eyes that pop up everynow and then from a manhole. A few bullets will scare it above grown where it can be easily killed with a few shots.

yeah.....that's all I got!

A evasiveness zombie that jumps around with less linear movement of the hunter. Basically: Hunter - power Jockey sized + erratic movements. Good staller and 4 claw damage.

I want to see animal zombies NPCs

A variation on the Spitter or Boomer, where what they spit on you sticks you to your spot, can't move or turn or shoot. Lasts about 6-8 seconds. But it also means no other zombie can move you either, rendering a lot of their attacks useless (eg. The Charger can't charge off with you, and the Smoker can't drag you off, etc.).

i thought of a mode and a zombiie the mode would be like
you could use the survivors from l4d and l4d2 the bots would pick a random
survivor and say instead new survivors it would be a mix up
and the new zombie would have bones sticking out of his wrists or arm
and it would hit its bones against survivors it would be called
the brute it would have 300 health and 20 damage but it would be easy
to spot because it would have bones sticking out of its body
and it would come in small hordes

soo peace out home dogs

I want a spider-like infected... Maybe it has extra limbs or something.

Anyway, it can crawl up walls (and ceilings) and can stay stationary on them (unlike the Hunter, who can't attach himself to a wall after pouncing onto it). The only way to detect it in the dark is by its drooling. If it's on the ceiling, it can fall and latch itself onto a survivor and inject him/her with a venom that'll cause damage over time. However, how long the damage lasts is determined by how long the spider-thing was on him (it will pin down the survivor, rendering him unable to move). When pinned, the survivor won't suffer any damage, but when the spider-thing is done (having latched on for say, 20 seconds), the survivor will feel the effects of poison, restricting his movement and taking off chunks of his/her HP every 3-4 seconds. The damage each time will lessen, but the longer the infected was latched, the larger each chunk of health will be taken off. It can be remedied with a healthpack, which will either treat it entirely, or if the spider-bite was recent, then greatly lessen it.

It would have above-average move speed (just above the survivor's move speed) with low health.

Or a mole type infected, who can burrow holes in the ground and grab a survivor if he/she passes over the hole, similar to a hunter pinning him/her down.

That'd be cool.
killing floor did spider zombies. laughably easy.
That's because they behaved like normal zombies.

Now, if they could crawl up walls and across ceilings...

They need a Special Infected specifically designed to slow down players.

I have no problem with rushing being the dominant strategy (it makes sense - Special Infected spawn on a timer, go as fast as possible, they spawn fewer times, simple) but even with the numerous adjustments from Left 4 Dead 1's multiplayer the balance is very much in the favour of the Survivors. Being able to slow down the Survivors would help a great deal.

A Special Infected that could coat Survivors in some kind of sticky string might work.

the creeper, a zombie with low health but high agility, leqaps from roof to roof foolowing surviours, when seeing and opening it would jump down and grab a surviour and drag them around to an ally, damaging them over time, the way you would know of there presence would be a high hiss before it attacks or grabs a surviour.
