Agreed. I mean, I really enjoyed Uncharted 2, but Assassin's Creed II is the best game I've played all year.

I haven't played Assasins Creed 2 but i can definitely say that if you want single player only, buy it. If you want one of the most co-operative online experiences though buy l4d2. Anyone who says l4d2 is more of the same obviously hasn't played it, besides even if they are the same, it only matters if you've played the first one.

Assassins Creed 2 is way better in every way. I didn't really like the first Left 4 Dead, the sequel has some improvements but it doesn't even compare to the glory that is Assassins Creed 2.

With Christmas coming up, the chances of me getting a game seem pretty good. My girl friend asked me what kinda games I like to play, and it seemed pretty obvious that she plans on buying me a videogame for christmas.
Even if she doesn't, I'd like to know which of the two [Assasins Creed2/ L4D2] you guys think is better. I'd say what I look for in gaming, but I honestly don't know. What I need you guys to do, is to basically sell me which game is better and why.

They're both great, but honestly, Assassin's creed II really does live up to the hype. I like left4dead2, but i'm a little bored of it atm. ACII has sucked me in like a ten dollar whore and I can't stop playing.

In my personal opinion Assassin's Creed II dominates the scene compared to Left 4 Dead 2, and I can honestly say the re-playability in ACII is alright, considering I've had to beat the game three times (Damn achievement whore.).

But I also say if you want a lot of multiplayer options, L4D2 totally dominates... Considering ACII has none. It all eventually comes down to personal preferences, but my votes for ACII in the final bits of this.

Correct. I played Uncharted 2 and went and told everyone how it could easily win GotY. Then I played Assassins Creed 2........Sorry I can't think of a proper sentence to describe it because I just started thinking about how epic the ending was.

Well it is unlimately up to your personal preferance.
If it was my choice I would go with L4D2 without a doubt, mostly because it has more replay value. But having said that, I would borrow Assasins Creed 2 from a buddy or something, because it IS a kickass game-though relativly easy. I simply wouldn't buy it, because it's single player, and after you've gone through it once it's pretty much done.
Also if your girlfriend likes video games, I have noticed many girls enjoy L4D more than Assasins Creed.

The ending was epic, I just finished it bout an hour ago and it is definetly one of my favourite games of all time. Can't wait to ac3.

The two are exact opposites in every manner you can think of.

ACII:single player only
L4D2: multiplayer only (single player isnt worth 10 bucks the way the bots play)

ACII: free world
L4d2: extremely linear

ACII: low on replay value (its only sp)
L4D2: extremely high replay (AI directore mixes it up)

i could go on and on. basically this is completely your decision. they are both excellent games, worthy of game of the year, its up to you when you decide what you want in a game. i personally will be getting both, but thats because i got l4d2 now, and ACII isnt out for pc till next year.

what im saying is your asking which is a better fruit, apples or tomatoes. thats completely absurd. they are both terrific games, but satisfy two completely different needs.

AC2 if you prefer single player, L4D2 if you prefer multiplayer.

yep and modern warfare if you like both and cheap sequels.

Modern warfare has good online but its story is just too short, AC2 has a longer story...but still no multiplayer

It depends on what you are looking for. Both AC2 and L4D2 fill there own specific niches. If you want a zombie, shooter, or heavy co-op game, then go with L4D2. If you want some mildly free roaming fun then go with AC2. It's just that easy.

Both games are great respectivly. Personally I like L4D2 cuz a lot of my friends play it but AC 2 improved on the origanl in so many levels. Honestly I'm still playing MWF 2 over both games so if you didn't get that yet you should.

Well since Left for Dead 2 is the worst game of all time, and Valve deserve to have their faces stapled by an ugly transvestite for unleashing it upon the world. Do not get it.

Assassins Creed 2, on the other hand, is totally awesome. Get Assassins Creed 2.
