First off I don't know what Appelfie is or why it's necessary you evil Capatcha.
So lately I've had a lot of drama in my life, and I used to play games to release stress etcetera because I didn't really have to think about it, characters jump, smash or blow their way to victory, Pokemon encourages animal fighting and another watchdog group suddenly starts barking when they should have started over a decade ago.
However when I play old games I used to enjoy I quickly get bored, within I don't know, 5 minutes, I'm bored. It probably doesn't help that I usually played JRPGs so I feel like I'm watching a movie most of the time (Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest) and lately DQ8 is the only one I can stand because I'm not getting a cutscene every 30 seconds.
In addition with losing a lot of time working on an Indie Developed Project of a game, I just can't be bothered to care with a games story or anything. My views have changed from "Hey look it's a cool bad boss, time to rip his head off and go eat some pizza" to "I wonder how they made that work" regarding the code. And thus that has made me really just not be bothered to care because I'm always looking for the inner workings now or wondering how they could of improved upon the initial code.
So have I just outgamed myself with not being able to spend money on new consoles/games and sticking to old stuff or should I just continue on a hiatus because I can't find much enjoyment in games lately. Or does anyone have any really interesting cheap Indie games I can give a try to look at? Really just throwing this out there that I want ideas to get back in with some fresh stuff.
