Twilight will probably appear as an MMO.

The day it happens is the day I throw myself under a bus.

yeah um........ NO, you play as Bella, you go into your room, Pout. Go to school, Pout.
Play as Edward. STALK BELLA all Splinter cell style.

Then you can do the googly stare into each other eyes, all Guitar hero like.

God forbid this actually happens. How can you make a game out of Twilight a have it be good? There's just no way anything would work. I don't care how much money the industry might make, any game based on Twilight would be a massive pile of shit and would be a stain on the industry that could never be washed out.

RUN...the mob are coming!!!

How would you do a Twilight game though? Just finding different adjectives and metaphors for Edward's face?
It'd be an English lesson. "How would you describe Edward's personality?"
"Flat, boring, 2D, possibly dangerous?"
"Wrong."
"Glowing, romantic, not the least bit creepy?"
"Correct!"

Very often good movies are butchered when they are made into a game.

It's painful to think of how brutal a Twilight game would be considering the movie sucked to begin with.

Lose 7 digit revenue, keep all self respect, be able to keep making games and not have your house burned down by everyone that isn't a twilight fan?. Thats a pretty good trade for in my opinion.

The twilight mmo is going to be shit enough, we don't need more.

[Exclamation] Somebody pitch this crossover idea to Marvel/Disney immediately!
[Aside] ...so we can finally see those sparkly meatbags get what's coming to them.
[Placation] No, I didn't say anything. This movie will make billions.

Yet somehow I'm not surprised. I'd elaborate but I already got in trouble for similar lines.

All I can do is pray to the glorious Flying Spaghetti Monster, or using Stephen Colbert's syllogism, Stevie Wonder, that some sort of action/adventure game based on this series is never made.

Unless, it's a Blade game, and he's fucking them up good.

Rofl could you imagine the controls? Press "Y" to mope, press "X" to sparkle, press "B" to slash wrists, so on and so forth. Awful idea, just awful.

This may be the tiny bit of Nintendo Fanboyism still stuck in my veins, but when I read the title of this I assumed they were talking about a new Zelda >.<

Also Twilight = Worst thing ever conceived.

Don't forget: Press "A" to call your domestic morality into account by practically raping your girlfriend, and then violently remove her unborn demon baby.

EA could have just released one of their baseball games in fast forward with new models...

Though you could EASILY GET success by getting stepheny meyer to write a story surrounding the earlier life of edward and make it into a game Heavy Rain style.

To be honest I don't see the fuss around twilight, sure the movies aren't that good, but you also have to choose to go and see them. why protest something that makes people happy...

I don't think people have a problem with Twilight itself.

They have a problem with other better titles that would have had a more profound impact on society for decades that are ignored because it.

Sex sells, which is cool, but most people aren't angry that sex sells, they are (at least I assume) angry because there are so many amazing stories and universes out there that get lost for possibly forever because of our desire to watch shallow pretty people possibly boink each other.

Not to go all geeky, but its why many people got fiercely upset when Firefly ended because of Joe Millionare basically dominating the news and airways (it also was cheaper to make so fox said fuck firefly).

You had a story with diverse amazing characters in a beautiful universe overshadowed by some attractive asshat and a bunch of shallow women.

:(.

gee ... i was told as a kid if i can't say something nice to shut up but idgas (i don't give a shit) not having a twilight game is a good thing

it would suck anyway like heavy rain etc and end up in the discount bin eventually ...

but it would bring more girls and some sexually confused boys into our gaming world which would be okay

Yes they should have milked it shamelessly.

More money in the company piggy bank to spend on worth-while developments.

Question is who wants to make it and 'take one for the team'.

I've seen both movies and whilst they aren't terrific, they weren't terrible. People just seem to dislike them due to a problem with the fanbase. As someone who gets on well with teenage girls (three guesses on why i've seen the films...) I find the films alright, right up until people start going OMG EDWARD.
But even then it's the fact that they are going on about him that is annoying, not the films itself.

I also took a girl to see see a film - on a date, and was planning on seeing 2012, but she decided the ONLY film she wanted to see was New Moon... As soon as we got into our seats, she turns to me and admits she hasn't seen the first one. AT WHICH POINT I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THE PLOT OF TWILIGHT TO HER.
(he's a vampire and she fancies him.)
