Am I the only one who thinks the design on the new pokemon is awful? Pretty much going downhill since Sapphire/Ruby. It's mostly what has put me off the new games.

It took a long time for Nintendo to start doing fanservice, but they're doing it.

It was only a matter of time. Just you wait, coming generations of Pokemon will all be based upon 13 year old rumors and OCs.

The latest Pokemon Designs are just ....insanely silly.
The originals were at least based on animals to a degree and just had a few odd ones, it seems they have been doing the reverse with the new ones. Ice cream looking pokemon, garbage pokemon, one I believe was based of a childs drawing and reflects it.

I think is going to be a different form, like the three sky genies with the same tying but different abilities and stats, than a new evolution.

If it is a more powerful evolution...

Yes because magnets, sludge piles, and boxers are totally animals while deer, crocodiles, and chickens are not.

See the problem with this is Mewtwo has a nice rhyme to it. Mew-two. Mewthree just doesn't work IMO. Maybe Mewfew? Few is generally excepted to mean about 3... Ya, I know it still sounds dumb but it's better than Mewthree.

Dear everyone who keeps saying Mewtwo is based on Frieza. He isn't. His designs were inspired by Giegue. Good night.

So you quoted my post without actually reading it, if you're going to call me an idiot make sure you at least read what I wrote before calling me out because what you said had nothing to do with my statement. I said nothing about deer, crocs or chickens, read what you quoted: Ice cream, childrens drawings and trash are strange pokemon as they're not based at all on animals/plants/etc, and I had stated that gen 1 had a few odd pokemon so what are you trying to say exactly?

That a animal with boxing gloves is totally implausible?

I agree, even the idea makes my jaw hurt.

Why do all the pokemon outside of the original 150 or so look totally retarded. Granted some of the 150 look retarded but still.
I thought Gold and Silver had decent Pokemon. Some the original 150 weren't very clever either. But at least it's not Black/White bad.

Yup. A goddamn ice cream cone.

Bisharp, Galvantula, Chandelure, Scrafty, Haxorus, Golurk.

they are, in order, a knight made of blades, a bigass electric tarantula, a ghostly chandelier that eats souls, a lizard punk, a dragon with an axe for a face and a fucking mecha. and there's plenty more. fuck your argument, I'll enjoy my mecha.

It looks like if a sperm cell horribly mutated, became an entire organism and got some angst.
Also noticeable, some spikes coming out of its chest like Gardevoir. Rather than an evolution, what if it's an alternate genetic experiment that they tried to do with the genes of a variety of psychic Pokemon only?

Speculation aside, I just know that I'll be very disappointed if its name is Mewthree.

Also, I heard recently that this is a confirmed alternate Mewtwo form. It looks livable as I said, but I would rather Mewtwo not turn into it. Hopefully it requires an item or specific conditions to happen rather than leveling into it.

in my opinion (if its a clone or re-create of Mewtwo) its stupid. mainly because

if i wanted to make a pokemon (genetically) that had lets say the def stats of another pokemon and i created a power house pokemon by mistake (this is mew two) it has super high atk and super low def. test failed. now i create a new pokemon (with completely different technology and a diferent way of doing it) i will definitely not:

A use the failed clone (mewtwo) because if this tech works id be copying attack not def and it wouldn't work AT ALL Not the same stats

B id probably create the ORIGINAL because im trying to re-create HIM not a failed test that is the complete opposite of what im trying to achieve.

in summary if "mewthree" is a copy of mew two il facepalm and then falcon punch the creators and the in game sceintists who made it

It's a new form for Mewtwo: Awakened Mewtwo. No other details are available.

maybe its the natural (REAL) evolution of Mew

since Mewtwo is a clone he could have been genetically altered to look the way he does, meanwhile when Mew evolves naturally he turns into this Mewone thing... I wonder if Nintendo would have the balls to make a pun like that :p

There's too many bits on it...the spikes on the head, the finger and toe pimples, it would have looked fine with just the headpiece and the tail. :/ Actually, maybe just the spikes on the head, as the head piece makes no freaking sense...in the original Mewtwo design, the tube on his back looked like a brain/spinal cord connection, maybe something that allowed him better reflexes or pyschic control of his body or some other technobabble crap, but that one does what? Link the two halves of his brain together? -_-

Maybe it lets his trainer carry him around like a handbag...
