If I were an rpg character, my charisma would be minus 3789. I don't want to ruin someone's day by attempting to hit on them as being hit on by me from the females perspective surely feels like a lovecraftian horror lurching out of the darkness towards them.
Stop being so hard on yourself lest I strike you about the head with my cthulu plushie.
It's possible that he isn't being so hard on himself as much as he's being honest. I can say that because I'm also in the heavily negative charisma side of things.

Not being able to leave the house during a particularly sunny day because of prior issues with skin cancer doesn't help with the 'cool' factor. (Fun fact: Surgery sucks when the anesthetic wears off while they're in the middle of stitching the hole in your body back up!)
Yeah I have a major league allergy to grass and I live in the Lake District which basically looks like The Shire. I don't go outside very much in the summer.

Sorry to hear about your illness and surgery I hope you feel a bit brighter soon.

As for charisma anyone who likes Deadpool is okay with me. :) Looks like your another target for Fluffy Cthulu. nyrawr nyrawr

Well, as a male, I can certainly defend the guys. I don't see what's so wrong with them looking for relationships online. They might just want to make a better attempt to get to know the girl before trying to start something.
And also as a male, I will call them out as creepy, sad fucks.

I've never seen it all-out, but I was playing something once, and the first thing someone asked this girl when she joined was, "hey, are you a girl?" in that way that those weirdos have.

Allergy to...grass? Like, all kinds of grass or just certain kinds? Do you actually have to touch the grass, or is just being near it enough?

No, trust me, I was desperately looking for a reason to never have to go outside and interact with strange people in person. It's a blessing in disguise.

Do you really have a Cthulhu plushie? Where would you even get something like that?

What is that, what's it mean?

I don't do it. I usually get pissed off at attention whores though and ask them to be quiet. Usually they do not and I leave the server. I don't care if you're a girl.

OH DEAR GOD IT'S SO FAT!

No, really, it is. It's more of a ball than anything else. Why Cthulhu? WHY?

And...Cthulhu might scare off a boogeyman, but he would eat the soul of your niece. That's just how Cthulhu rolls.

Anywho, if your real name is Jessica, then you remind me of a Jessica I know. You wouldn't happen to have a disturbing obsession with Twilight, a boyfriend with curly black shoulder-length hair, and an Debate teacher named Mr. Powell, would you?

I think she means that he smells. Hence the Old Spice comment.

Now, GIRLS on the other hand DO play games. Case in point, My girlffriend.
Either you were unable to see that this guy was joking, which I refuse to believe, or you posted that simply to show off:
a.) How liberal, modern and pro-women you are
b.) That you have a girlfriend

If you couldn't see he was joking... what!?

As a guy, I'll say straight away that no, I don't. I treat women as human beings, thanks. Part of it could be that my self-esteem is through the floor, but I like to think that it's because I have a shred of human decency.

I can speak for watching my wife play black ops on the wii (she hit 50/15 about 4 months ago)

With the exception of the guys in her clan (all cool guys that have her back she get a lot of this

(her name is NurseCheryl)

hey nursecheryl are you a girl

last time i check ya

Are you really a nurse

yes i am a rn

Hey nurse will you check my nuts, i think i got a growth (i swear she gets this almost every match)

No thats ok i am all set

Cheryl why you being such a ***** (kid you not)

im not just don't like being talked to like that

You dont really play right. no way you can be maxed rank.

No i did it check my player card

Bulls** chick dont play games like this, you must be a fat ugly ***** or a raging c**t that no one loves

f**k you don't call me that

Your a c**t

*she leaves*

*person send her a friend request*

sad part is the above is the nicer of the things said to her most of the time. She has people hit on her and when she says no. they are chill and they play matches together all the time. I think for the most part a lot of the men on these games need to get their head check and rememeber to respect everyone not just "thier boys"

then again i could be wrong but that might be why i have about 20 female gamers on my firends list hahaha

I agree with this. There's nothing wrong with a guy wanting a relationship online. I personally find them quite cute, but... people really need to learn what "subtlety" means >.>

Then again, I've been desperate and know how that can feel but seriously guys, trying to act like an self centred dickhead doesn't help you get laid. Or does it? >.>

It does get them laid. And it's very sad.

Even if you get turned down 50 times, you'll still find the one that will say 'Yes' if you keep shamelessly plugging away. Disappointment, I am full of it.

Nah my neices name is Jessica I stole it because I couldn't think of anything. The soul nommage is a decent trade off for cuddles imho.

On topic I think alot of people who game are introverts and so we all have Boone level charisma. Who better to date than each other. It's these idiots who are like 'tits or gtfo' which annoy me.

Wait a minute, people get laid even on the internet from shameless plugging and belittling of people?
I can understand if you're in... you know, high school but on teh magikal interwebz?
I thought that kinda stuff wasn't really tolerated. Just expected. I get hit on all the time by those annoying little assholes who call me "slut" or "*****" or "****" because I'm not all over them.
I must just be sticking to the "safe" parts of the internet. >.>

I tried hitting on a old school crush on facebook. We talked. But then it thankfully bombed.
Since then I have learnt my lesson!!
Seriously,no flirting on chat-any kind,anywhere-unless you are face to face with the woman, its as good as masturbating and saying you had sex with the girl.i.e.its stupid and you come across as a creep(Come to think of it,thats why she probably disappeared from mym friends list..:p :p)

BTW:Its funny how many guys have replied to this post >>> than the girls

Chicks don't play video games, what are you talking about?
Mr.K. said:
OT: You haveto understand the gaming world is still mostly a sausage fest, a girl in that environment is like a glass of ice water in the desert, everyone wants to get some :p

Quoted these because it ties into my online experience as a female gamer.

There are two types of flirty nerd guys that I encounter. The ones who try way too hard to be chivalrous and cautiously step around every move that you do, and then the dickweed ones who open with "chicks can't play games lol" and proceed to bash that tired little meme into a bloody stump.

I get hit on daily online. Sometimes it's the tolerable kind of flirting, which is at least friendly. Usually it's the "lol show me your tits if you're really a girl, but I bet you have a dick because no chick can play like us" type flirting that I have to deal with, though, because the "chicks don't play games" crowd spends a bizarrely large amount of time shadowing chicks.

Mr.K, that's actually entirely untrue. There was a gallop poll back in...2009, I think? Anyway, a gallop poll which said that 97% of 12-18 year olds are gamers. There's not much else out there in the way of research on who plays games, but just looking at that demographic....unless there is a vast majority of men in society (which there isn't, there's more females than males), it's utterly false.

Most women just hide their gender online to avoid "LOL GIRLS CAN'T PLAY" idiots, or the aforementioned flirting.

Never happened to me, but that's prolly because there are so many more guys than girls online that they might mistake me for a guy playing as a girl. :p
Sometimes i play with someone on tf2 for upwards of 20 minutes thinking that they're a 12 year-old boy, only to realize its an adult woman.
Maybe that's happening to you.

Funnily enough I used to play wow and there was this guy who used to be HORRIBLE to me like really bully me into the ground. A few years later I spoke to my old GM and he said the guy was totally 'in love' with me and just hadn't got over the 'pull thier pigtails' phase.

It was pretty hilarious but kind of sad at the same time.
