Lady Gaga released a new song. I think it's rad, but not as good as most of her old stuff.

Anyone else digging it? Hating it?

I knew I would have to hear this song at some point. It's surprisingly not bad. Eh, the thing is, like most of her songs, they have one part that's really cool and then it goes to something I don't like as much. The verses are great, but the chorus isn't that good. It's begging for a Skrillex remix, I'll say that much.

I never thought my feelings about this artist could be summed up so perfectly.

OT: I don't care for Lady Gaga. At all.

Eh, I don't like this one so much. Maybe it's just this recording, but I can't understand her very well.

The main ones I like of hers are Born this Way, Telephone, Bad Romance, and Poker Face, and with those I never had to look up the lyrics to figure it out. Pretty much from the very first listen, I could tell what at least 95% of the words were with 98% confidence I was right. But this one is just so...muddled. Her voice is competing for dominance with the music rather than working with it, and it just sounds messy. The instrumental part near the end is alright, but overall it just sounds so...generic. Given the catchiness and conviction of her other hits, I expect more than this from her.

She has a lot of other stuff that isn't as good as the ones you mentioned. You should check out Alejandro and I Like It Rough, those two are pretty rad.

I haven't heard I Like it Rough, but Alejandro is alright in my opinion. It sort of has the same problem as Judas here where it sounds cluttered, but at least Alejandro has a good melody and consistent, recognizable motifs working for it. Judas...just sounds like she mixed a few house beats together and threw lyrics on top as best she could. The vocals and music are working separately and don't compliment each other at all.

I would just like to say right off the bat that I pretty much hate everything about lady Gaga's image and musical style.

That said, the into to this song is catchy as fuck.

Eh, I Like it and think it's catchy.

But I'm curious how she can out-weird her last video, should be interesting.

Oh yeah, because you could never make good music with machines.

Yeah I'm more into the artists that record their music on rolls of yarn. Using machines to make synthesized beats is way too mainstream, I mean can a machine even be knitted into a neat brown and slightly lighter brown scarf?

I didn't think so.

Y'know most people your age are over trying to be different by hating what everyone else hates.

I quite like the song, anyway.
For the most part, at least, there're some really catchy parts and some that are a bit too unclear.

Don't listen to Daft punk, Not into Mainstream music..i don't bash people for listening to that type of music though.. I don't try to be different, It is not about being different, I just don't like it heard it before, Copy paste music. I do however will admit i do Like and listen to some ABBA,Jazz, Classical and Metal, and mostly 80's pop.

What saddens me that this will probably still sell a metric shitton, while
alot of bands which play ten times better will never get the audience they deserve.

It is all about money, that is what it comes down too. All about Making money and making copy/paste music, though i won;t denied face that she has talent and isn't capable of making good music that has a soul instead of Syths and Machines.
