I don't like Lady Gaga because I think she's squandering her talent. Some of her songs are catchy, while most for me just fade into background mush, but what I really hate is the image obsession with her.

It's like she tried to be a good artist, make great music with a wonderful singing voice over it, found it didn't work, so dressed like a reject from a Cher video, did a weird singy/talky high pitched bubblegum voice instead of her good singing voice, and instead of playing the piano, like she can very very well, she let some chucklehead with a MOOG lay down a 'phat' beat.

And also, in her unreleased early stuff, the lyrics usually get pretty damn good, whereas in her popular released stuff, she just sings about pretty much nothing.

Like I say, some of her songs are catchy enough and not bad to listen to, which puts her miles above Ke$ha and her ilk, but she had the potential to do so much more, and she wasted it in order to have fame and money.

Do I have to transport you people back to the late 90s/early 00's? Worst pop music ever. I don't like Lady Gaga because that's just not my kind of music, but she's wayyy better than all the divas of 10-12 years ago (Spears, Aguilera , J. Lopez, wayyy past-her-prime Madonna, etc). There was no pop equivalent to "Fuck You" back then (I swear I should be sick of that song considering how much its overplayed, but a good tune is a good tune).
