So this wasn't the forum for Vault101 to be posting in? She fit this community like a glove. A lot of genuinely decent members (IMO) have been banned so I find this viewpoint hard to believe. As far as I can tell the only thing that made Vault101 different than anyone else was that she posted a lot more frequently. That seems like an odd thing to punish someone for.madwarper said:The redemption process is fair. And, if you haven't figured out how to post and not violate the Code of Conduct after getting 4 warnings, probation, a 3-day suspension and then a 2-week suspension, then perhaps this isn't the forum for you to be posting in.
Seriously? You make it sound like it's always blatantly obvious when you post something in violation, it isn't at all. All three of my violations came as a complete surprise to me, even after I found out what they were for. And I've read the code of conduct page several times, I know the rules. I've even PMed numerous members before to warn them about posts that might get them into trouble. When it's happened to you it's hard to watch it happen to other's as well. So many noobies fall for the low content posts.madwarper said:In the end, it's really simple. Before you post a comment, proofread it. If you think there's a possibility it might violate the CoC, delete it and either try again or simply move on.
I honestly wouldn't have guessed the post that got Vault banned was bad either. I know I've seen far worse that have gone untouched.
I can tell you don't post as often as I do, and have no (current) warnings, so it seems odd for you to be dictating this stuff to me like that.
