I still occasionally buy CDs. Usually before I go to gigs or from the merch stand at gigs, so I've got something for the band to sign if I get to meet them.
Last one I bought was Commit This To Memory by Motion City Soundtrack.
It would seem that there are an awful lot of metal fans here on the Escapist, but then metal music and videogaming seem to share similar audiences.
The last CDs I bought were Gorillaz's first self titled album, and Kasabian's first self titled album. I've been buying quite a few CDs recently in preparation for the festival season.
"Snow on the Tracks". A collection of train-related songs by country star Hank Snow. I heard about one of his songs, decided to check it out ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMsUHrSVxSc ) - and HAD to own it!
Nightwish's Once, though I did still order it via the internet. Anymore I get digital versions of the albums I buy, but that one wasn't available in mp3 format, so I tracked down a decently priced used copy on Amazon.
