Thom Yorke's The Eraser -

The cover told me the CD would have 9 tracks on it...

I put it in, lay down onto my bed, looked up and asked myself, why it stopped after the best song.

._. They don't sound all the same but they share the same greatness, thus misleading me to the thought, it was one big great song.

Now I know what I've got to listen to :S

Dark Tranquility's Haven.

Couldn't stop listening to it for a month straight.

Also more recently Whitechapel's New Era of Corruption.

Fever to Tell by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs

If I had to vote for best anything ever it'd be this CD.

Led Zeppelin 4 its one of the best albums ever made. Everyone should hear Stairway to Heaven once before they die.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I do only know of two albums where I actually love every single song in the album and that is Led Zeppelin IV and The Yes Album.

Absolute masterpeices.

The only albums where I've loved all the songs:

Electric Ladyland - Jimi Hendrix
Led Zeppelin 4 - Led Zeppelin
Six Degrees of inner turbulence - Dream Theater

Paul's Boutique - Beastie Boys

London Calling - The Clash

Fly Like an Eagle - The Steve Miller Band

And my absolute favorite is probably Led Zeppelin 4

New album that just came out.
The Damn Things - Ironiclast

SUCH a good album, SUCH a good band.

Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano from Anthrax, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley from Fall Out Boy and Keith Buckley and Josh Newton from Every Time I Die.

The last fair deal gone down by Katatonia. Some say we must bury you is a weak song, but there's something about it that appeals to me. The rest of the album is acclaimed all round.

Trivium's Shogun. I love all the songs on that album, on most albums by all the bands I like there will be at least two or three songs I don't like.

Delain's April Rain.
In my opinion, these guys can do nothing wrong, and it's EXACTLY the kind of music that is just perfect for me to listen to. Delain's not my favourite band, but their albums are my favourites.

Last as in newest? That would be Welcome To the Masquerade by Thousand Foot Krutch. So much diversity, I love it.
I also feel that way about most Rise Against albums, though there are some b-sides I do not like that much, and I also feel indifferent to Hero of War from Appeal to Reason.

I'm not sure if I can say Crystal Castles or not? They're my favourite albums ever but when I first started listening to them there were a few tracks I didn't really like that have now grown on me.

But for an album that had me hooked the moment I first heard it and didn't let me go until well after it finsihed? Neutral Milk Hotel - In an Aeroplane Over the Sea.

This is one of those albums where once it's finished you feel like you've been part of something really special but yet you don't quite understand.

"Perfect Day" by Chris Whitley- just got into his music recently, but there aren't many modern musicians that I like.
