I just bought Brutal Legend..again, but this time on PC with all the DLC. My Xbox is on the fritz anyway and it's one of the few games that I have no problem paying for it again because I support it that much (coincidentally, Double Fine's Psychonauts is up there too). I absolutely loved it the first 2 times I played through it on 360 and this time is no different. Sure, there are ALOT of things wrong with it but it dared to be different and the end result is still a fun game with the best soundtrack of any game ever. Also, the premise for the environments was heavy metal album covers, of different decades and genres, come to life. How is that not one of the greatest things ever?

Hmmm... the last game I bought was The Witcher on GOG. It was $2.50 and I figured that was worth me not having to get the disc out next time I want to play it. I really enjoyed the game when I originally played it, but that was a few years ago now.

If DLC counts, I bought and played through Dishonored's The Brigmore Witches earlier this week. It wasn't amazing but it was as good as the rest of the game's content I thought, and plenty of fun. As with the rest of the Dishonored content I played through it twice: once in low chaos and then a speedrun of sorts in high chaos.

The last new release I played was Shadowrun Returns... but I paid for that over a year ago via Kickstarter. It was fun as a sort of RPG-lite experience with a pretty well-told story, interesting world, and decent turn-based combat.

Shadowrun Returns, and while I complain a lot about its budget-design and gimped cyberware system, I still found it an enjoyable ride.

The Secret World. And yes, fuck yes. Out of the like, 100 mmos I have played over the year I think I can safely say it's my favourite, although I'll be honest and say I wish some of the weapons had better animations/feels to them. Notably the pistols look retarded when shooting and hammers should make some sort of satisfying crunching sound, but don't make andy sound at all. It's sad when I can say that the weapons in like, Skyrim, have a more satisfying feel. That being said I love the shotgun oh so very much.

The last game I bought was Tales of Xillia, I gotta say, its a bit slow to get going but the plot is starting to kick in now and things are getting a bit more interesting.

Dragon's Crown.

Played it through in three sittings with family, considered it tough, 100 hours in we zip through everything, dragon included, the real focus feels like playing the lottery but I still enjoy it. Getting all toons fitted with the best S-ranked weapons luck can provide.

Like Tower of Doom or Shadows over Mystara, I would have expected to grow somewhat tired of it ten or twenty hours in, but, hey - it's a well made game. Plus a sprinkle of Cooking Mama and gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS art work. I still have to finish it with the Dwarf, but I really have an issue with short little bearded guys. Well, Dragon's Crown will eventually let me overcome my shadows, I guess. Still enjoying it, still playing it, best value for money this year so far (excluding Last Of Us, that one is in its own league).

Planescape Torment. Um... I think I don't need to explain how good it is.

Bought Civilization V off of Steam, and yes, I do enjoy it. Very much so.
Do you enjoy it by compulsion like the rest of us?

That subtle enjoyment that makes the hours between 5pm and 7am disappear without you noticing? :p

OT: The last game I bought was the Dungeon Siege trilogy on Steam but it's still downloading.

The last I bought and played Was Lords of Shadow Ultimate on Steam, and yes I'm enjoying it very much, I love the game anyway but the chance to have it and it's DLC's in 1080p at 60fps is just fantastic.

Also enjoying Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, which I started 2 days ago despite buying it a month ago.

Final Fantasy XIV: A realm Reborn. My first time playing a Final Fantasy MMO. I was enjoying it, until my BF made it into a race between him and his friend to level up and do everything first, leaving me behind to do everything on my own. I'm one than prefers playing games like that in a small group with friends... so it'd becoming a little bit boring on my own =/ lol

Killer is Dead.
Just brought home and played maybe 90mins.

So far it is awesome. Don't understand the negative reviews on crappy IGN etc. Combat is well done, art style is sweet and the story is good ol' Jap crazy. Loving it. Then again the 7 Destructoid gave it seems reasonable.

I do wonder what Jim Stirling would think after the glowing praise he gave Lollipop Chainsaw?

Been playing through my Steam backlog of games and the most recent i've been playing (and completed last night) was Batman: Arkham City. Very good game just like the first one! I'm not quite the completionist though as I missed out alot of the Riddler trophies etc.. Maybe one day ;)

Also bought the recent Humble Bundle which included Battlefield 3, Dead Space etc.. So gotta consider playing those too :O

TOO MANY GAMES NOT ENOUGH TIME!!

Tales of Xillia. Came in the mail this weekend. And I'm still enjoying it. :p
Tales of Xillia is the last game I bought and played, I haven't had the chance to play Saints Row IV yet so I can't really say anything about it yet.

I bought the Milla Maxwell edition and I am not one to buy special editions with figurines normally. I am really loving the game though, but I kinda knew I would. I haven't played a single Tales game I didn't love. This one might just be my new favourite though.

Total War Shogun 2. Although I'm stuck at the castle siege tutorial, although I keep on sending my army to death, although I may not be a good strategist. I'm having a blast! :D

I recently rebought Left 4 Dead 2 for the 360 and boy am I glad I did, all my friends are all let's just say never going to buy a decent gaming pc but it was still fun to kick it with them for the 360 with one of my favourite games, but how about you?
I prefer the first game to be honest. The levels in the second just seem to go on that little bit too long and melee really doesn't work for me in first person.

The most recent game I bought was one I actually already owned. Mass Effect 3.

I bought the Collectors Edition for the 360 from eBay.

That would be Animal Crossing: New Leaf for me.
The game is an improvement compared to the previous DS game but it is still the same mudane and addicting game.

I bougth Railorad Tycoon 2 for the good ol' times, and boy, I love to finally play the retail version after all those hours and hours playing the demo when I was a kid. Totally worth it.
