My last purchase was two games: Saints Row 2 (for the second time) and Spider-Man Web of Shadows.
I do feel like I need a new game soon but I'm trying to save my money for October/November. If I do control myself, my next purchase won't be until Arkham City.

The latest game I spent my money on was Pokemon Black 'cause a friend wanted me to play it with her. Ultimately, I'm using it and other games to keep my 3DS occupied until I get the new Kid Icarus Uprising. Which is the main reason I got the 3DS the second I could.
last game: Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition. next game: Probably more WoW sub but for new purchase I dont know.
Last game I bought was Magicka, I'm hoping to go and buy Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters 3 soonish, getting the itch to play them. Tho I'm going to preorder Dead Island soon too.
Last was Catherine.
Next will be Deus Ex 3.
After that, it'll probably be Ico Collection, Silent Hill Collection, Uncharted 3 and Skyrim.
Maybe Dragon Age Awakening and the two expansions I'm missing for New Vegas if I go back to DA:O and/or Fallout before November 1st... cause after that date, only two discs will enter my PS3 until the end of the year.

The last game I bought was the Darkness and I can't say it was what I had expected or a particularly good buy. As for the game I have my eyes on, that would be Dead Island (they don't sell the limited edition in North America. Dammit.) and Gears of War 3 coming out later in September as well.

Last I bought was God of War Collection, less than a week ago, and next I'm getting Catherine, I'm waiting a few weeks to see if the price drops a bit here (it's more that 100 dolars for the pre-order version).

I just bought Oblivion + Morrowind GotY editions on steam (I love sales) and there are probably a few games I'll get next...
I always keep my eyes open for steam sales, and I have pre-ordered Diablo 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I'm trying to avoid making a habit of pre-ordering (I don't feel like a large portion of revenue should come from the craze of getting a game ASAP) but I really reaaaaaally want to try out Dead Island.

Last game(s) that I bought was the Humble Indie Bundle #3. I haven't even had a chance to play the HIB #2 that they gave to me later, much less any of the other ones. Possibly the 2nd best $7.00 purchase I've ever made (#1 was Oblivion GOTY on sale on Steam).
Hopefully, I'll be pre-ordering The Old Republic next. Once I get a mailing address for my college dorm, I'll be placing my order at Amazon.com. Or, if you mean the next game I plan on buying, and then playing, it'd be Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I'll wait until a few reviews are out, but I'm keeping a very close eye on it. It looks promising.
