=L Not being funny, but I own L4D, L4D2 and Killing Floor all on Steam, and Killing Floor is better than both of them.WOPR said:YES! SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES KILLING FLOOR!KaosuHamoni said:Portal 2, but, to comply with the thread rules, the game before that was Killing Floor. It's awesome. Like a mix between Nazi Zombies & L4D2, with a whole lotta more awesome thrown in for good measure. =]
*cough* sorry
you've no idea how many L4D2 addicts will rant about how L4D is the "best zombie shooter ever" and when I mention killing floor to them they reply "I haven't heard of that so it must suck"
...yes because paying less for a better game is TOTALLY sucky *grumbles to himself*
i was given several mint condition rock band games to trade in, along with instore credit. after all that portal 2 cost me $20. i also got killzone 3 for $0, but i still haven't played it. its just who you know, having friends in the game industry and a gamefly account saves me moneySenaro said:How did you manage that? Buy them from a friend who was done with them or using the internet? I'm hesitant about dropping 60$ on Portal 2 as well, waiting until I can find it for about what you got it for.culade said:Got Portal 2 for $20, and Mortal Kombat for free.
I still refuse to pay $60 for a game and will do whatever it takes to get them at a reasonable price, including beating everyone in a MK tournament
It's a shame they couldn't have gone that extra mile for the PSP version and use GOOD 3d graphics like the system is capable of, unlike the DS. I would have LOVED seeing FF4 done with Dissidia's visual style which is all kinds of awesome. After seeing Cecil, Kain, and Golbez in that type of style, a full fleged remake would have been epic.Koroviev said:I agree 110%. FF4CC is great and even if The After Years isn't as good as I hear i is, FF4 alone is worth the price. Love the updated sprite art instead of that fugly 3D of the DS version, a lot more charming and easier on the eyes. Haven't played FF4 since the GBA version so it's great to revisit this classic and have a copy of my own for once. Always emulated or borrowed a friends as I never owned a copy.
And while I was picking that up I got Knights in the Nightmare because Extra Credits reminded me that it was on my "to buy" list. Funny enough I saw it at EB and it was only 20 bucks so that was an instant purchase. ALways held off on the purchase for the price to go down and I just had good timing. Came with a download voucher for Yggdra Union too so I got a free game too. Haven't played it yet as I'm holding off on it for now.
Oh, for a moment I thought you got it with just a twenty dollar bill. As long as they weren't games you cared about, I guess it works out. I never trade my stuff in.culade said:i was given several mint condition rock band games to trade in, along with instore credit. after all that portal 2 cost me $20. i also got killzone 3 for $0, but i still haven't played it. its just who you know, having friends in the game industry and a gamefly account saves me moneySenaro said:How did you manage that?
