The last game I actually played through was probably Alan Wake. Currently going through a Civ 5 craze...

Anyways, Alan Wake has a good premise, a pretty good storyline that gets trashed towards the end, a nice gimmick (light) that could have used a lot more variation and the game's pacing is crap. Overall it provides some good moments of entertainment, but fails to impress too much.

Left 4 Dead 1: The Sacrifice campaign (Normal, as I played the rest of them)

A nice difficulty hike here- you may even lose a person. The atmosphere is aided by the inclusion of daylight, and I was genuinely terrified during the end stage of the finale.

Great fun game, with awesome graphics ( the design makes it feel like a 90's game, and the blockness fits), you can do ANYTHING, as long as you have your mind set to it.
