Bioshock 2
----------

A tight game with a deep story.

At no point did I feel overpowered, which makes a change from the first game.

Comic Jumper

Pure comic gold with well varied game play and doesn't ware out it's welcome. Also any game with a main villain called brad is worth your money.

I have completed Mirror's Edge for the third time.

Such an underrated game with gorgeous graphics and a beautiful soundtrack. The free run platforming is well implemented in my opinion. However the combat is the worst part about the game, especially on the hardest difficulty where fighting the enemies was more frustrating than actually hard. Overall though I love this game. 8/10

Mafia II

Was quite fun. Mission were fun, although some were too long and the ending was just......stupid

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale

A surprisingly entertaining dungeon crawler/item shop sim, with a decent degree of difficulty. Took me 3 loops to pay off the debt, I was messed around by price fluctuations on my first loop, spent too much time dungeon crawling in the second and ended up having nearly double the amount required at the end of the third loop. Onward to Endless Mode!

fallout 3

at least the main campaign so far...anyways, had quite a few mods installed and it really added to the flavor of the game, (no offense to people who enjoy it) but i fucking hate the music in fallout 3 so i had a music mod for my own music that really helped me enjoy the game. The guns/gameplay are quite a bit of fun, the liberty prime part is fucking epic and i gotta say its a pretty big and detailed world, once i fixed the music i got pretty immersed for 5-6 hours at a time playing it.

Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic

i bought it off steam hearing every1 thinks its awesome, so i decided to buy it, also wanted some pre story before SW: The old Republic kicks off :p.
how was it ?... awesome :) the RPG element, story, action, just everything works it, defo worth a try ;)
ah good look my young padawan ;]

if you liked it then i would suggest buying kotor 2, it should be on amazon i think, its buggy as hell but if you get it to work it is truly epic, it basically takes everything besides the main story and makes it better than it was in kotor 1, (the story itself isn't bad though) and there are some AMAZING mods for it, easily rivals some of the oblivion/fallout 3 mods

Alpha Protocol.

Great characters, a brilliant dialogue system, and a very involving non-linear plot. The actions you choose have real consequences, both in terms of story (bifurcating narrative) and gameplay (you accumulate bonuses based on play style). Lots of combat options; I loved the very challenging stealth + martial arts approach (you can finish the game with zero kills). Mini games are hard but good. Camera and controls a bit dodgy, but overall I think it's a brilliant (and very underrated) game.

Portal, after the free Portal event.

It was entertaining, and would have been worth buying even if it hadn't been free. It also did what Valve wanted it to, since I stuck around with the platform and even bought a few games.

Borderlands

Borderlands ought to be the greatest fps of 2009 and it's still as satisfying and fun during your fifth playtrough. It's mind blowing fun and the loot alone could make you play the game for years.

Enslaved

Beautiful and poignant story in the most colourful post apocalypse I've ever seen. Combat was fun enough for the most part.

Mafia 2
I can't fill 2 lines. It disappointed me in every way.
What? You mean you didn't enjoy driving from A to B 600 times trying not to even slightly bump into another car in case the stupid police pointlessly chase you yet again and send you back to the checkpoint at the beginning of the chapter?

And you didn't enjoy clunky, innacurate shooting and a complete lack of side activities?? What's wrong with you!

Fallout 3
no matter how you play it the game is awesome fun. near infinite re-playability because it's impossible to do everything in one or even two play-throughs. only gets dull when wandering.

World in Conflict Soviet Assault

Disappointed that the multiplayer was dead, but the campaign makes up for it. Great fun and has some really memorable moments in the campaign.
