I played Mass Effect 2 for 22 straight hours when I first bought it. I had frozen pizza for lunch and dinner, I jogged in place to keep my legs fresh, I pretty much passed out after the credits had rolled.

There's also times that I play CounterStrike:Source for hours longer than I planned. Just one more round and i'll be able to leave on a high note......

I'm surprised to to not see anyone has said WoW: Cataclysm yet, so I will.

Other than that I've been on an indie binge lately, trying to find the next big hit. So far I got Amnesia (obviously), the Impossible Game and level pack, Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, and Cthulu Saves the World. The latter one can be found on the XBLA.

After that I've been addicted to Guitar Hero (as always) and the Bulletstorm demo.

I need to stop getting stuck onto games.

Morrowind, oddly.

I'd picked up the GOTY versions of it and Oblivion at the same time and would install it, play for an hour or two, and give up in disgust at how fights-you-the-whole-way-through it is compared to Oblivion and uninstall it. This happened i don't know how many times.

Somehow or another, I finally managed to get past it and had fun with it. I still don't think it's half as good as it's fanboys do, but it's not a bad game.

MInecraft - it will suck you in and keep you there forever! You can't leave...the creepers will get you.

Also, Beat Hazard. I get to play a fancy version of asteroids that looks like it's on LSD, but I also get to blast my favorite music at the/ same time. I love that indie game. Best $5.00 I ever spent. XD

Fallout new vegas. Say what you want about the bugginess and "ITS NOT FALLOUT 3! WAAAAAH!!!! WHERE IS MY CAPITAL WASTELAND, AND WHY ARE THE BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL NOT SAVING ANYONE AND WHERE MY ENCLAVE AT?!?!?!?!" but if you have any respect for the first 2 fallouts it is superior in many ways. /rant

but yeah. I have had Team fortress 2 (my other most played game) since about june last year and have played about 61 hours worth of it. I have had F:NV since just after christmas last year. 95 hours out of it. Its amazing what the australian Summer holidays can let you do when you are forever alone/friend zone... *plays depressing song on violin*

Probably Civilization 5. I swear that game consumes time with the efficiency of a billion time vampires. I've had it for three months and I have sunk 71 hours into it. Other than that I would say Defence Grid: The Awakening. I pretty much played it from start to finish as soon as I had picked it up on the Steam sale. I love tower defence games, and this one was done so very well!

Dragon Quest 9, much to my great surprise. I've played almost nothing BUT it since buying the game.
You're not the only one although I only playing it since I am having my game drought (the game is still alright but I only playing it farm gold?s to spend on the DQVC). I am eagerly waiting for Pokémon White to arrive so it will be my next game to stuck to.

Divine Divinity 2. I skipped studying for an exam and writing stuff to play it. I barely went to sleep with it and with the enourmous quantity of quests, there is a lot to do. I only did as many quests in Baldur.

I am replaying it and I am also stuck at it since I need to finish a quest and need an apple. Everywhere there is gold and gems and fancy weapons...but no apples. The merchants seem to have an unhealthy amount of booze on them too. I love this game.

Dragon Age: Origins. I would sit down at 8:00 p.m. and the next thing I knew it was 4:30 a.m. and I only had a couple of hours to sleep before work.

Vanilla WoW was the game I got stuck to before that.

I empathize with everyone who has posted any flavor of Civilization. I have lost many weekends to those games, which is why I am avoiding Civ 5 right now.
