I don't think I've played a game older than me since I was a kid. It was probably Duck Hunt / Super Mario Brothers on the NES in the mid 90's though.

The laughing dog still haunts my dreams...

Used to play it multiplayer with my little brother, would cheat by getting a second controller and making the birds fly erratically while he tried to shoot. It's probably for that reason that he never really got into games... actually feeling a little guilty now.

The way I see it, you're probably too young if there are games you've played that are older than you.
That being said though, I was born in '91, so there are games that came before me.
Oh, and like many other people, I too have played Tetris, Space Invaders, Pacman, Pong, and other such retro games - though I have played them through the internet or on a more modern console (Xbox, Playstation), so that doesn't really count.

Oh god, I'm old... I did play the infamous Atari ET game last year at a retro-game party, and that is 3 years older then I am. Let's go with that.

Just looked it up, Tetris is about 18 months older then I am, and I play it almost everyday on my phone.

It's weird how old I am getting.. people who consider "Half Life" as before there time is weird...

The only real game I finished which was created before my time was android 1(Might of been maybe a few years old when it was released)... it was a very hard game! Only reason I finished it was because my older brother has an "Amstrad" which he thrashed out when he was a kid and he showed it to me. Thought I would give it a go...

I recommend you play it though... I'm into all your generic starcraft II, counterstrike, pokemon, and all that kinda stuff these days and I actually find it a fun game to play... not because of child hood memories.
