Damn, it's been a while since I bought a retail game. Nothing's come out lately that I really needed to have. I think it was Fallout 3, which I picked up the day it came out, so... yeah. Soon it will be Madden 10 though.

And Fallout 3 still keeps me entertained.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village

I was stunned when my DS started talking to me, in actual voice-actor recorded words... more than just a few sentences or 'hyah'. There are actual cut scenes. I'm proud of them (or maybe I'm just behind the times here).

Other than that initial little surprise, I generally enjoy the puzzles. What waters my enthusiasm with the whole thing is the points system. If you fuck up, the points you get for it goes down, and while it isn't usually a problem, there's just something about losing points because I made a stupid mistake that makes me want to gnaw on the screen in frustration the longer I play.

I bought it as well, but the only reason I was pissed off was because there was no cross platform play between the PC and 360. I know so many 360 owners and I can't play them.
