My first thought for this thread was Halo 3 ODST but then I remembered that I picked up Atelier Iris 3 a couple days ago so, that.

Uhhh... The Orange Box on my laptop. :] Bought it a while ago, but finally managed to get rid of the hl2.exe error, get a good config, and change the settings to run wonderfully.

Now I just need a mouse.. Even though I'm quite good at shooters with a touchpad.

So what was the last game you purchased? Are you enjoying it?

For me it was Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood. I am enjoying it very much (except for the damn showdowns) I'll probably play it again on hard when I'm done.
But the showdowns were fun!

And I believe the last game I got was Mass Effect.

Metroid Prime: The Trilogy collection. I have yet to open it, as I'm still working on Dead Space Extraction.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. I got it on Friday.

I have yet to be able to play it past the (childishly LOOOOOOOOOOONG) tutorial section because we have company over, and that company happens to be bumming it on the couch. Sad thing is, between homework, actual work, test preparations, meals and chores I will never be able to play this game.

I do enjoy what I have played thus far, though.

Last game I bought was Hearts of Iron 3, a game that's still a patch or three away from being as good as its predecessor. My wife just bought the new Mario&Luigi game for the DS yesterday, although with her squirrel-like attention span for single-player games she'll probably get bored with it by tomorrow and go back to playing World of Warcraft, leaving her exasperated husband to wonder why I let her spend money on games in the first place.
