I cant believe this. After postponing the release date already for a year or 2 I thought they were done delaying. But no. I was just informed from my local GameStop that it has been pushed back for sometime next year. I hate it when this happens because all we can do is wait longer.

Anyone else furious with yet an other delay for this game?
Also is anyone else annoyed with Anonymous and hacking PSN yet again so no one can play online? Stupid question I guess if you use PSN.

I don't actually own a PS3, but hasn't Anonymous already said that it isn't the cause of the problems with PSN anymore?

The Last Guardian is my most anticipated game, but I could see the delay coming from a mile away so I'm not too upset.

Why would I be mad? They are practicing the approach of don't release a game if it needs more work. More devs should follow that train of thought. It was slated for winter of this year anyways. All that means is a month or two possibly.

The Last Guardian Delay: At first it was announced to be released during the Winter of 2011 (Q4), so being so close to the end of the year I kinda was expecting it even though I want to play as soon as possible. Yet Ueda (game director) is doing this to further improve the overall quality to make an even better game then what we would've got. Last Guardian can be pushed back to Fall 2013 for perfection as long as we have a list of good games to tide us over (Uncharted 3, ME3, Gears 3, Ratchet and Clank:A41), examples.

PSN online delay: Anonymous has responded that they didn't do it and I believe them. At the same time I do believe that if this GeoHotz thing wasn't blown into a bigger deal than it actually was and PSN wasn't attacked in the first place then this wouldn't happen. So PSN's gonna be down for 2-3 days? It can be 3 weeks big deal, I'm sure the people can think of SOMETHING to do besides game (looks outside window curiously).

At least they're confirming that they're working on it. Unlike other developers... (Valve)

But yeah, they shouldn't set a release date if they're not sure they can make it in time.

No and No, I would prefer them to delay it and get it right and team ICO have built up a lot of goodwill so far so I'm good.

PSN yeah its a bit annoying but I am playing Shogun 2 at the moment so I can wait until its fixed

If the game needs more polish and is not quite ready then that's fine by me.
Also, Anon said that they didn't hack PSN, it's most likely that Sony fucked up with there servers big time.

Furious about a game delay? Um, no. Disappointed at most, but to be genuinely angry about something that trivial seems rather silly to me, especially when the other option is to have the game come out on time but be the lesser for it.

Not furious in the least. Good games are worth waiting for and Team ICO makes good games. I'd much rather they push it back than rush out a turd that is going to dissappoint everyone and ruin their reputation. Getting angry because they took one vague release window "end of the year" and replaced it with another "sometime in 2012" is hardly rage worthy. It's just part of this hobby that I've come to accept.

I'm also expecting Saints Row: The Third to get pushed back to 2012 too. That would make me sad, but not angry.

They release it early we can moan about it being buggy, they release it late we can moan about the delay. Win win!
I don't get why people get angry over this, you're still in the same state of not having it.
Nothing has changed that will directly affect your daily life.
Bugs I understand, the rest not so much.

I'd only be pissed if they delayed it as a business decision, rather than a quality issue.
