Reservoir Dogs. Pretty good, but not as good as Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, or Inglourious Basterds. Better than Jackie Brown and Death Proof. I give it an 8.5/10.

Kids. THAT MOVIES FUCKED UP
Is it worth seeing? I've always wanted to check it out, probably because I'm sick.
if you wanna see 16 year olds have sex and rape 12 years olds be my guest
I figured there would be young people having sex, but raping a 12 year old? Thats horrible. Maybe I should pass on it. What led you to watch it? Are you glad you saw it?

Babel.

And it totally blew me away. Probably the best film I've seen for 10 years. In many ways it was as close to a 'perfect' film as I've ever seen; it was compelling, moving, universally recognisable (which is the point of the film, I guess), and it was all done with a subtlety and artistry that was truly remarkable (The use of the word subtlety may be debatable, but I don't mean that the message of the film wasn't fairly obvious, just that it was presented in a way that didn't beat you about the head). And the music and sound design was just phenomenal.

"The Mist"
Intersting idea, very gory and lots of aliens/monsters. 7/10
However the ending was brutal, if anyone's seen it they'll know what I mean. I haven't seen anything that harsh since the dying child scene in the movie "1408".

30 Days of Night.

A very good vampire movie that is entertaining and at the same time makes you crap yourself and also feel uneasy with it's vampire child. Proper review to be written and posted by me some when in the future. Yay, free advertising!

9/10
Didn't think too much of that one myself it felt more like a talking zombie flick than anything else.
Me and a mate had a good laugh doing an impromptu MST3K impersonation taking the piss out of it (the protaganists mostly) so in that respect it was somewhat entertaining (scary though? not so much).

Surrogates: A bit on the short side, but simple and entertaining. And stuff goes "boom" quite pleasingly.

Bridget Jones' Diary: Seen this one a half dozen times. Total chick flick, of course, but it always makes me smile.

Das Leben Der Anderen (The Lives Of Others)

I really enjoyed it. I found it when scrolling through the top lists of iMDB. Certainly has a great atmosphere and acting as well.

Transamerica.
Great film and amazing acting even if there were some scenes that seem a bit pointless.
I don't think it's for everyone though :p

Moon. God, I love that movie.
This is also the last movie I saw, and I too love it.

I would go as far as to say:

Moon > Avatar, Star Trek, Watchmen, ETC.

Easily, in my opinion, the best science fiction movie to come out 2009.
