So I just cut my finger while opening a box, it wasn't a deep cut but it was bleeding alot. I washed it off than I sat down and next thing I knew I woke up on the floor with with a pain in the side of my head which I must of hit when I fell and a split lip. I've never passed out before so it was a little scary but I'm okay now, just feeling a little weak.

So what was the last scary thing to happen to you?

Yesterday I almost got taken out by a van while I was on my bike, that was pretty frightening. Then I had a dream that I was getting mugged so I took a swing at the guy and then woke up in pain to find out that I had punched the bed post again.

The lady at checkout in tescos. She wouldn't be out of place as one of the screeching women that Germania has in Rome Total War...genuinely the scariest person I've ever seen working in customer service.

My laptop fell off my desk last night, one day after I just repaired its hard drive. No hard done, but my heart skipped a beat since I didn't made a save on my term paper.

On a less scary and more startled note, I just saw the Space Shuttle Endeavour fly right overhead while going back to my college dorm in San Francisco. Right out of nowhere.

Well I was playing some LoL yesterday (solotop Irelia) I was just walking into my lane at level one, I go for the first last hit as you do then this fucking Renekton jumps out of the bush next to me and like does a teeny bit of damage cuz he's level 1...

Though I think his stratagy was to give me a heart attack. Almost worked as well.

I live in the upstairs apartment of a duplex. My front door (the door facing the street) is down a flight of stairs I rarely use, I always go out the back (driveway).

One day I was coming home from a bike ride and I look down the block and I see the door I haven't used in a week is wide open.

I drop my bike in the street and run inside. On my way up the stairs I shout "Hello?!" in the most aggressive and threatening way possible. No reply.

I immediately walk into my kitchen and grab a knife.

I look around for strangers/robbers/what-have-you and find no one. Nothing has been taken or disturbed.

After I search my home to my satisfaction I suddenly realize that I haven't seen my cat this whole time.

For the next 15 minutes I check underneath everything and try to entice the cat out of hiding by shaking the food bag and "sweet talk". I convince myself that the cat went out the open door or what seemed a more improbable possibility, she was stolen.

At this point it's been the better part of an hour of fear, panic and stress. My adrenaline has run out and my cat has been kidnapped. My body just shuts down, I crawl into bed trying to imagine what I am going to tell people when they ask what happened to my cat.

"One day I came home and my door was open and the cat was just gone forever." Was all I would be able to say. It was a terrible feeling.

A few hours later I awoke and walked into the living room, the damn cat was sitting in the window sill. She barely acknowledged me.

To this day I don't know how in the world that door was left open, or for how long it had been that way.

At the base of my stairs is where I put all my junk mail and trash to put out on the curb.

So for what may have been days the door to my house was open to the world, mail was scattered all over the floor and the smell of rot was wafting out. Yet in that whole time no one ever investigated what would appear to any outside observer as the scene of a murder.

Last genuine scary thing would be when i was driving home at about 1am a few weeks ago listening to 'dont fear the reaper' speeding quite a bit around a quasi-twisty road, only to have what appeared to be an 8-9ft whiteish figure appear standing on the side of the road when i went around a corner.
Turns out it was only a bunch of signs and concrete barriers that looked vaguely humanoid in shape for a split second, but my heart still stopped pretty hard and i had ALL of the adrenalin for the next few hours.

I forgot to seal my mask and inhaled a large amount of CS gas. The pain that accompanied the sense of fear was worse that thinking my mask was fucked up!

The last thing to frighten me was League of Legends. Suddenly there's an Ammumu. A second later I'm dead because of his ulti. He just charged right out of the bushes and then death!

I was sitting in my room when suddenly there came a knock at my door. Apparently their had been loud crashing noises heard coming from around my room upstairs and my family had come to check on me. The things is I hadn't heard a thing. We looked all over but we never did find what made the noise.

My friend nearly drove us off the road to certain death trying to avoid a wombat a few months ago in the country at night. We skidded over onto the right side of the road, back onto the left, hitting a rock face and then back onto the right, facing the other way. The car then stopped with the back left tire over the edge of a large drop. We then had to wait an hour for someone to pick us up because the car was stuffed. In the country. At 3 am.
It was bad enough we feared for our lives for a few seconds, but then we had to wait in the dark for such a long time with nothing but trees and homicidal animals around.

A friend of mine was over at my place a couple of months ago, because I was having trouble with teh internets. It was about three in the morning, but he lives 15 minutes away, and we were awake anyhow, so he just said what the hell and came over to see if there's anything he could do about it.

Now here's the thing: his mother has cancer. He doesn't like to talk about it, and I don't want to push him, but from my understanding it's terminal.

He'd been fiddling with my laptop for a few hours, when his phone started ringing. He looked at it and said it's his dad. At this point I'm thinking there's only one possible reason for a call at this hour, while trying to hide my ohshitohfuckthisisgoingtobebad face. I held my breath until the end of the call...

Apparently my friend had accidentally pocket dialed to call his dad. It woke him up, so he was just calling back to see what's up.

Last weekend, I went to this theme park and foolishly traded in all my cash for the theme park money. The theme park money was good on none of the rides or food. Only the games and shows accepted the park money.

Anyways, I ended up getting all wet on the log-raft ride. My son activated the kill-sequence on a ton of giant cat and mouse robots and we had to use the flash on our cameras to short their circuits and fry them.

I can't remember, it's been a little while, I mean I tend to have at least one annoying injury or near death experience every year... last thing that scared me was when I woke up needing to puke, my eyes were watering, next thing I know I'm slipping on a linoleum floor recently soaked in puke, and fucking up my left elbow on the floor, nobody was home, and my cell was in another room... took awhile to get it after nearly knocking myself unconscious in the middle of the night blinded by the watering my eyes were doing... had to wear a sling for awhile, fractured my elbow. Never took a day off work.

Time before I sliced my leg open narrowly missing the femoral artery(it was visible in the wound) and lost about a litre of blood before the paramedics got there, I woulda been in worse shape had I not known first aid. took em a ton of stitches and 21 staples to close that sucker up again, I saw my femur too, which is a sight I'll likely never forget.

Prior to that some crazy bastard in a land cruiser scuffed the back of my shoe with his tire seemingly intent on running me over at a crosswalk... he had a red light...

nearly going off a cliff on my bike a couple times was bad too... along with countless other times when I nearly drowned/fell off a cliff/gothit by a speeding motorist or a variety of other things...

Well I have this freaky nightmare over and over, but if you mean in real life it would be having one of my former friends try to kill me by drowning.
Also, I have a phobia of stairs, so whenever I have to use stairs because theres no elevator or walkway I get the image of falling down and breaking my neck or something. I hate stairs.
