I know this might be a bit cliche, but Schindler's List. Just watched it recently, cried my ass out on that one.

I very rarely cry in films, even at the supposedly saddest moments. But for some reason the end of Serenity, when the ship blasts out of the clouds with River as the pilot, comes pretty damn close.

It would have to be Big Fish, but that was still aaaaaages ago. And yeah, I cried because the ending was so beautiful, who wouldn't want people to be smiling at their funeral?

My point exactly

I've watched this about four times on separate occasions and sobbed every time. This is especially sad if you've ever had a pet that you cared about or if you've ever had a soul.

I have only ever felt an emotional pang that made me want to cry twice during a movie. The first was the death of Spock, the other was the death of the Enterprise.

I watched All Dogs Go To Heaven earlier today.
I'm not ashamed to admit that the ending still produces manly tears.

Does crying from laughing count? Because I'm pretty sure I shed a few tears laughing at some of the recent Abridged episodes. Like TFS Lord Slug and Hellsing Ultimate Abridged episode 2 and Little Kuriboh's Yugioh Bonds Beyond Time Abridged movie.

Honestly, I don't think I cry that easily from anything. Though I have felt like it during a few scenes of certain movies and such. But never full on tears running down my face.
I was crying from laughter from Hellsing Ultimate Abridged episode 2 also, I had to pause it a few times because of it.

OT: I don't really cry that easily, and I think the last time I teared up from something was Never Let You Go, great film and the ending was just so damn depressing.

For me, it was definitely the end of the Vincent Van Gogh episode of Doctor Who. Damn is that a good episode with a lot of emotion.

Stemming this off of the "games that made you cry" thread

Post the last film or series (books are fine too) that drove you to shed a tear.

For me it's the anime Clannad - spent 8 episodes on the verge of tears, then when Ushio says her line about the 2nd place it's okay to cry I just lost my last shred of self control paused the video and left the room.

...Ironically going to the other place she says its fine to cry
Hehe when i first saw this i was gona plame you for coping me but since you mention my therd its ok. Oh and would you maint psting a link to mine? (Advetasment FTW XD)

I know this may sound weird, but some of the more recent episodes of South Park have made me tear up. The falling out of Stan as he becomes a cynical douche, and when Cartman goes through a mental break-down as he tries to grow-up was oddly emotional.

Dragonlance: War of the lance trilogy, when Flint goes to sit by his tree.
any Dragonlance fan will understand the manly tears of manliness
also Any moment where Tas does something Brave And Heroic.

Also Watership Down the film (the book has too much action to let you cry) also the fact that i live up near there doesnt help much.

A single manly tear is as far as I got.Toy Story 3. Until the end of that movie I had not shed so much as a tear in 15 years.

Luke: You must be the great Alucard.
Alucard: Sup?
Luke: I've heard quite a lot about you.
Alucard: Oh really?
Luke: The night walker who glides through oceans of blood. Beyond human. A monster who's power radiates with a darkness that casts a shadow on darkness itself.
Alucard: Oh, you dirty *****. Work the shaft.
Luke: Excuse you?
Alucard: Oh, I'm sorry. I like to dirty talk when someones sucking my dick.
Luke: Perhaps I should just skip to my point. My name is Luke Valentine.
Alucard: And I'm Carmen Santiago. Guess where I am.
Luke: I'm trying to have a serious conversation with you here.
Alucard: Oh. So am I. And I'm failing. And I'm sorry for that. It's just that I'm so agitated. Because this blond shit strolled into my room. Destroyed my 70 inch plasma TV! And is trying to impress me like I'm his alcoholic father.
*Each pulls out guns and points them at each others heads*
Alucard: Be a sport and grab Daddy another beer, would you.

I think I officially lost it at that part. Yeah, I had to pause it.

The last one was "A Perfect World". It was about this criminal (who was played by Kevin Costner) who takes this young, fatherless boy as a hostage, and ends up becoming pretty much the equivalent of a father to the boy. It was a good movie, and pretty funny at times, but the end was so sad:
The criminal gets injured, and he and the boy go out to an open field. There, the authorities confront him, and ask him to turn over the boy. Some very sad dialogue goes on between the criminal, the boy, and the authorities, and he sends over the boy. The criminal (whose name I just remembered as I was typing, it was Butch) is about to turn himself over peacefully. However, he makes a gesture that one of the snipers mistakes for Butch drawing a gun, and shoots him in the chest. It only gets sadder from there.

Just the other day I was watching a rerun of Futurama and ended up crying. It was the episode where Bender finds out he lacks the back-up drive that makes every other robot essentially immortal and goes on a manhunt for the inspector who approved him on the assembly line. No matter how many times I watch it the ending always effects me.
