The Rule of Cool thread got me thinking about the games that I still play, years after I bought them.
Think of your favourite book: you've probably read it several times, and you'll probably read it again and still love it.
What games are like that for you?

My personal selections would be Thief 2, UT2K4 and multiplayer Mario Kart: Double Dash.
What about yourselves?

I can pick up Legend of Mana, Saint's Row 2, or Oblivion any year and have a grand time.

I've logged 4,000 hours in Oblivion, and 350 in Saint's Row 2. Unknown with Legend of Mana, since I didn't keep track back in the PS1 era.

And I've only read my favorite book 2 times, and probably will never touch it again. :p

Someone's going to say WoW, I just know it...

Anyway, Plants vs Zombies for me. And I still occasionally get onto Battle for Middle Earth for some orc slaying.

Oblivion
Super Smash Bros.
Company Of Heroes
Worms World Party

Those are my classics. The rest fade in and out.

Oblivion, GTA IV and LoZ: MM are all games that I can play whenever and still have just as much fun as the first time.

I still play these games pretty often:

Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate 2: Shadow of Amn, Dawn Of War 2 and Dark Crusade.

Atleast once a year I'll play through Fallout 2 and Baldur's Gate 2.

I forgot to mention Chrono Trigger, on emulator.
And if I'm going on a long journey, I'll still whip out my GBA and play Link to the Past, even though I've got a PSP.

Unreal Tournament 2004, I've logged 3000+ hours. It's just fucking awesome, I still play it today and I find it better than any FPS's being released, it's just a shame UT3 wasn't as good, it's still fun though. Apart from that, GTA IV, Garry's Mod and Guild Wars. I also occasionally play random sections of Crysis, the levels are fucking beautiful and it does a good job in making you feel like a total badass.

Been playing the first Dawn of War for years, easily hundreds of hours thanks to the expansions and mods. Rome Total War is about tied, especially with great mods like Lord of the Rings: Total War and Roma Surrectum.

Oblivion I've put about 500 hours into one character but haven't played it for a while.

Still a fairly recent title, but put dozens of hours into Peace Walker and don't intend to stop for a while yet, so much to do in it.

Metro 2033. I'm on my 4th playthrough on Xbox and just got it for PC in the Steam sale. If I were to guess I'd say I've put around 50 hours in it (I know, not alot, but it's a fairly short game and I've only had it since June...ish)

Books like that are Tolkien's Silmarillion, Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings -trilogy and Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials.

Games like that are:
Counter-Strike: Source
Civilization V
Elasto Mania (now actually succeeded by Trials 2, but the same idea basically)

CS:S most of all.

I seem to always get drawn back to games like

Deus Ex
Diablo
Baldurs Gate

I can't think of a single game within the past few years, or maybe even decade that I have had the desire to replay over and over. Possibly Oblivion but even that is a stretch.

I still play Contra on NES whenever I'm bored. I've probably played it through thousands of times.

For pc-games, Crusader: No remorse, Tyrian, Wolfenstein 3D, UFO: Enemy Unknown. I still replay those games atleast once every year.
