Internet trumps regular TV any day. I can watch what I want, when I want, with no commercials. There's also the fact that most of what's on TV is geared towards older generations. There's a remake being made of Ironside, a show about a detective in a wheelchair that originally aired in the 70s.

I do kind of wish I had the money to pay for Netflix, so there seem to be so many critically acclaimed dramas that are only getting released there. Meanwhile, I?m ?stuck? with Freeview, which, on the majority of channels, just airs fucking repeats of films and panel shows I?ve seen a million times before, and reality shows that somehow are getting just enough ratings to justify their miserable existence on the network.

But I barely watch much on the internet either. I used to, but then when YouTube went and buggered up my account to change it to my Gmail one, I lost all my subscriptions and couldn?t be arsed to scour through the void looking for all the shows I need to catch up on. But one thing I can say is that at least they try to be a bit more original, and aren?t as restricted by censorship like the mainstream, painfully inoffensive channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4 (basically, ?the channels for all the shows about ?freaks??) and Channel 5 (who, frankly, no-one gives a shit about it; only things I watch on there are The Wright Stuff, which is also getting stale, and Power Rangers at the weekend).

Ironside has already been made in 2013/maybe into 2014 too. The only way I found out about was from the The Soup were they pointed out a strange line that was, "How did you see that clue (a pistol) under the cushions of the sofa?", "Well I see things move different down here". Erm... No offence but I think anyone would have spotted the pistol sticking out of the sofa like that. Wheelchair or not.

But be ready for more crime classics like a remake of Murder, She Wrote and others... If they remake Diagnoses Murder, I am out.

I could have sworn that got cut after the pilot episode because people thought it was awful.
