I think it's off to a okay start.

His guest interviews are often funny, and so are some of the sketches, but hit opening monologue is often not funny at all.

I think his writers will slowly get better, and he's off to a good start, and I'm sure he'll get much better.

Plus Jimmy Fallon is one of my favorite comedians, so I love having him on nightly.

What do you guys think of his new show?

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon isn't on Comedy Central.

Or were you talking about comedy news?

Bah....WTB Conan back....

The worst part? Is that I wont even get The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien were I live, so I'm stuck with Fallon horrible monolgues, bad interviewing skills and horrible long sketches...

I was talking about The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, which are just as funny if not better than these *Late Night* shows

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are funnier, but Jimmy's just starting off.

Give him a little bit. Conan got off to a rocky start too.

I know, but the difference betewen Conan and Jimmy was that Conan used to be mainly a comedy writer and Fallon an actor on SNL!

Fallon had already plenty of on camera experience.

So far the two only good parts of the show was The Japanese guy presenting the monologue(ten times better than the host...) and that stupid god volcano or whatever living in the stairs when Fallon decides to sacrifice himself to the Volcano...God wish he really did die...

But also it was a bad move by NBC considering they bad on ratings putting a complete rookie on that show.

16 Years ago was a chance they could probably take and they did with Conan. But right now? meh...

He just needs better writers. His improv with the guests are usually good.

I think with the line up they have already, they can risk some things.

Plus, there are many who like Jimmy, like me, and will watch him every night.

I watched his first show and from my house in Australia I could smell his fear. I think once he finds his feet he will do fine. Overall I like his style, his guests are good and The Roots are real cool.

I still like Conan more.

It's good to see a Conan fan saying he won't fail no matter what.

I only have Conan, Leno and some old Letterman to compare to Fallon. With only those I think that Fallon has a loooooooong way to go.

he could try and get more involved with the Band like Leno and Conan do. Also The Roots crew wont be on the Late Night forever, since they not a "jam" band like The Weinberg 7, but a tour band.

How long are they going to stay in NY?

They have been working for many years longer than him, they know what their good at. He just needs a couple months to work with the writers and decide what he should do, and what he shouldn't.

Right now, the only totally not funny thing is the monologue, and that's only a couple minutes in the beginning of the show.

As far as I can tell, they plan on doing Jimmy Fallon for a bit. They seem to be doing concerts close to New York.

Late night television these days is a very good argument in favor of going to bed at 11:30 after the Daily Show.

Fallon's on my permanent shit list for going onto the field at the end of the 2004 World Series to ruin Red Sox Nation's great moment so he could re-shoot the ending of a shitty movie. If I ever see him I'm going to start swinging.

I don't know what it is about Jimmy Fallon but I can't stand him. His skits on SNL were never funny so I will continue to watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

And a little off topic, but what do you guys think of the new Daily Show correspondent?

I believe you mean going to bed at 1:30 after Craig Ferguson.
