Enslaved odyssey to the west, because i wanted to see exactly what these Ninja theory blokes were capable of due to them currently being responsible for Devil May Cry Starring Kevin. The Game's alright. Not terrible, but not fantastic or anything truly amazing...just alright

Final Fantasy 6. So many people have said how fantastic it was, so I figured I'd give it a shot before agreeing with them/making mildly witty jokes about their judgment.

Because it was $2.50 on steam.

Why else?
Me too. Except, I've been trying to play it for the past few hours, but I keep restarting because I'm determined to be a sneaky ninja, but I keep getting caught by the first set of guards...

Tomb Raider HD Trilogy, because I thought 20 quid for Underworld with Anniversary and Legend was approching a reasonable price for Underworld, honestly though I think 20 quid for Anniversary and Legend would have been better value...

Jamestown on Steam, since it was on sale for $5 today. I've been intrigued by it since the first time I heard about the game, it's an old-school co-op bullet-hell shmup, with a 16-bit look, a story about British colonization of Mars in the 1600's, and one hell of a soundtrack.

Just look at it. Try to tell me that this game doesn't look bloody FANTASTIC.

And yes, it is just as good as it looks. There are only five levels, yes, but there are also something like five difficulty levels to play on. I may be a bullet-hell newbie, but I'm having a ton of fun with the game, and I highly recommend it, especially if it may help fund online multiplayer in the future.

Dragonball Raging Blast 2, I guess

I played the demo a lot, so I thought why not buy the full game? I've heard people complaining about the controls and the camera, but those didn't bother me that much.

And the soundtrack.... Hell Yeah

Picked up Halo: Reach yesterday. It's one of the only meatheaded shooters I really love. Co-operative Firefight is the best thing ever.

Tropico 3 Gold Edition off Steam. I had Tropico 3 already but stores never stocked the expansion where I live so never was able to get a physical copy. I try to buy what games I can as a physical copy.

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. I loved the first one and this one hasn't disappointed me yet.

I can't actually remember I've bought that many in the Steam Sales I can't remember the last one I thought OOO I need to buy that. I'm just going to say the last one I played out of the new ones I've purchased:

DragonAge Origins: Ultimate Edition

So I can finally understand what all my RP friends love about this game.
Just some advice. If you ever feel like the combat is too auto-attacky and doesn't offer the fluidity of real-time combat, try making a strength mage shapeshifter. If you look it up on google there should be a guide for it by Tonberry. And if you look up spells that don't sheathe your weapon, and pick from them, then you get the perfect balance for combat. The forms offer variability for the combat (tanking, DPS, healing, more attacks, general bear-iness), the spells that don't sheathe your weapon mean you can also be a proper fighter (and things like earthquake properly complement your forms), the wide range of abilities makes it feel less auto-attacky, the lack of dangerous AoE attacks means it is functional on hard difficulty (if you play it right) because unlike other mage builds where you have to be careful not to kill your allies with that fireball, the worst you will do is knock them down with earthquake, which is easily fixed by having them as archers or Shale (I don't think Shale gets knocked down, and he can't be picked up by ogres and dragons).

Wow, wall o' text. My bad.

OT: Infamous 2. Because I'm too poor to buy other new games.
