GW gave their IP to Full Control to make Space Hulk. A company that has made some painfully ugly and buggy games in the past.ezaviel said:I would not be suprised if they turn out to have no actual right to the GW IP at all.
It is just so weird to think of GW giving their IP to a company with such a terrible recent track record. I mean, releasing a game that gets labelled by critics as "the worst game ever" should hurt your reputation somewhat.
Meanwhile, the Warhammer Fantasy IP has actually been doing pretty well. Creative Assembly is working on a Total War for Warhammer Fantasy, and Cyanide's Blood Bowl adaptation was pretty fun. But 40K is where the money's at, and GW just keeps selling the IP to every shitty little indie dev they can find.
