I understand the closing of the arcade because it's law, what I do not understand is why the law was made in the first place. Did a governor lose to a public game of pinball at his visit for some new movie and decided action needed to be done to recover his ego? I'm honestly lost about this.

Gee, what was that organisation that banned everyone and everything that they didn´t like?

(Tip:They were lead by a fellow named hitler)

Seriously though, this is just sad. Like, 1-year old falling of the balcony sad.

Words cannot describe how stupid the entire situation is.

Reminds me of something that happened here in Portland recently: State inspectors forced a seven-year-old girl to shut down her lemonade stand because she wasn't operating with a $120 restaurant license. It's so easy for bureaucratic asshats to abuse long-forgotten laws to make peoples' lives more difficult.

This is what happens when you apply virtue ethics to public policy.

......it's fucking pinball!! Seriously, what course of action aside from "Lift this ban *stamp* NEXT!" needs to be taken? What, is the pinball machine a common ruse to deliver drugs or bombs to gangster hideouts?

IT'S. FUCKING. PINBALL.

Excuse me, but isn't one of the slogans for the USA:

Land of the free, home of the brave. ?

Some freedom you have when you can't even run a decent business that is not hurting anyone...

Had his business been "Joe's Hurt a dog Emporium" I would agree it should be shut down... but pinball?

Up next:

Man arrested for walking on pavement.
