This'll make the show even MORE interesting when my friends and I are all watching it at 5 AM after a sleep-deprived night of tomfoolery.

Haha, it's an interesting idea, that's for sure. I know I won't see Lazy Town the same way the next time I look after my niece or God-son.

This is awesome, thanks for necroing it. I doubt I'd ever have found it otherwise.

This article is great. I was watching the show with my niece a while ago and all of this totally makes sense. XD

Wow, that's a nice explanation!
I zapped into this show a few times and was really confused and confounded. Now I know why.
Thanks!

Hah, this is amazing. I hereby make a proposal: Anyone interested should attempt to create similar reviews of shows (and indeed any fiction they wish) set in a completely different setting and post them on the site. The Escapist Community can vote for the best and the winner recieves the ultimate prize...

A plate full of internet flavoured kitten and pony shaped cookies with photos and toys of ponies and kittens, with a kitten sitting on top. Oh, and a puppy rolling around on the floor.

This isn't a new thing; and it is sort of getting on my nerves now. The Adultization (made up word) of childhood. Whilst I think the OP has a good flair for it, shouldn't certain things be free of dissection?
Meh, take a joke.

Anybody who takes this seriously is either an idiot or a fan of the show. Either way, moron/underage B&

Then why does she dance with sportacus so much if he's inaginary? Or if he's a robot, why does he clearly get awkwardly close to her butt, robots can't feel love.

Sportacus is part of the country or place that bombed lazytown, and he came to see what was going on. Obviously, since he's in a flying ship and he appears in the first episode.

Wow, very enlightening.

I prefer this awesome interpretation of the pokemon anime series [http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=261135&st=0] but I still give high praises to the original writer of this article.

Derp derp, duuuur. Of course I take it seriously. It's OBVIOUSLY a vision of the future, I'm going into my bunker now, I take it so seriously.

Either that, or I'll come on the internet and have a little rant about how children's shows are somehow a sacred institite... Yep, super serious, that's me!
