League of legends, Opinions please?

I do love LOL but there are alot of flaws in the logic that riot game uses.

Such as if you leave 3 games within a certain amount of time you get banned for 1,3, then 7 days. Its happened to me a couple times cause of my internet cutting out due to the facr i live in the middle of nowhere (the english countryside.)

Also the tribunal is flawed aswell, for those of you who dont know what the tribunal is, its a system they put in place to punish players from the vote of the community, and everyone is just gonna want to drop the banhammer on everyone so thats flawed aswell.

Other aspects of the game, what do you think?

I like the game very much, played a bit of Dominion yesterday evening, and it looked better then Summoner's Rift or Twisted Treeline. It's a great, free game.
But, the player community is terrible at times, so I'd advise anyone to find 3 or 4 friends to play with.

Totally agree, Dominion is fantastic and the community is awful but so are alot of communities

You don't accumulate leaves with custom games, only matchmaking. If you've got a couple of friends willing to play with you, it's actually possible to have fun by yourselves.

But yes, I do agree, the leaving system does suck and it's the reason why I can't play LoL anymore, even though I really loved the game.

I'm considering going to EU West to get away from the Eastern Europeans, and to play with a friend of mine. But I would get queues and the French. Dear lord do I hate French people online.

I enjoy it, but the fact that each game requires about an hour of intense game play tends to put me off extended play sessions. S'why I'm only level 18 after playing since Beta.

Play it with a group of friends over skype or some sort, awesome experience, on your own ... meh.

Been Playing this game for almost a Year. There's good addicting fun to it. A good number of my friends play so I've never not had fun with unless i get 10+ losing streak. I recommend it for anyone that loves team-based fun. Riot is a bit silly with patches but they are getting a lot better at balancing out certain aspects of gameplay.

It is a great game, with the flaws you'd expect from a free game played over the Internet. Find some friends and nice people to play with, and you'll have a great, great time.

Didn't care much for Dominion, though. Too zany and unbalanced. This baby will have to cook for a little while longer.

I actually didn't like it... until I tried the Dominion beta. I was playing it with my college's videogame club tonight, and it's pretty intense. It's basically Battlefield's conquest mode condensed into its purest, simplest form. Also, I have to share that I had the biggest comeback that I've ever had in an online game while playing it tonight. We got knocked down to 25 points really early in the game, while the other team was still over 400. Somehow, we managed to hang in there til the end of the game, with the final score being 19-0 -- and we were the winners. I've seen big comebacks before, but never anything that ridiculous.

I can't stand MOBA's in general, purely because the community for each and every one is filled with some of the most annoying douchebags I've ever had the displeasure to play a game with. Now, if it had LAN play that might be a different story.

Ranked is a joke since there's nothing stopping trolls and non-competitive people from click on a button designed for competitive people.

Guinsoo is balancing the champions. No wonder the game's not balanced (look at what he did with DotA before handing it to IceFrog).

Coming out with a new champion every two-three weeks and squashing meta games pretty much shows that Riot cannot find a good equilibrium point.

Plus the distinct lack of features that Riot promised years ago really makes me want Dota 2 now.

Then don't play it. You are ruining 9 other peoples games. Ban is completely justified.

I mainly hate the game for its community, because I am used to Starcraft, and people respect each other in SC2 (because it is 1v1 and not team-based and also more difficult).

Apart from that, Riot's server are really bad really often (lag spikes, queues etc.).

I'd love to say that I hate it, but I played about a thousand games, so I guess it isn't that bad.
