Jason asked, landing ten feet away from the woman and letting his wings go back into his body. He made no sign of wanting to attack, he seemed as if he merely wanted to talk.

"And what is it that you came to find? If your telling the truth I help you find it, and then you leave with whatever you came for, nobody will even have to know." Jason said, relaxing as it appeared the woman posed no threat.

"Do you know were this lab might be? I'll help you for now, but then you need to leave because my allies are searching for you too. Lead me to this lab, and I'll help you get the files, and then you need to leave." Jason said, motioning for her to lead.

"Why would I want to cause a fight that would demolish half the city when I can help her get what she wants so she'll leave? One person's life for half the city, I think I can live with that." Jason said, walking forward so that he stood right in front of Alex, "Now please, just help us get the file she wants and you and I can go about our lives as if this had never happened."

"Well we can't all be perfect can we? I've killed more people then you'll ever know, so lets just get your file and you can leave." Jason said, turning to the woman and waiting for her to go inside and grab her file.

"You don't intend to fight me do you? I don't want anyone to be hurt, but that's whats going to happen if you don't stand down and let us pass. If you believe so strongly that she's truly evil, who is she?" Jason asked, making no attempt to bring out a defense or anything, leaving himself completely vulnerable to an attack.

Jason walked over and offered a hand to Alex, letting them know that he meant no harm. He had just assumed it would be easier for the woman to take what she wanted then to destroy half the city bringing her down.

"Listen, you need to go somewhere safe, because I can almost guarantee that now that this woman has what she wants she'll be in no mood to just leave town, and you'll only get in my way if your here." Jason said.

"So I take it that didn't go so well," Umbra said, leaning on the side of the opposite building. She yanked up, revealing the grappling hook she climbed down on as it fell back to her. Rolling up the rope, she asked. "I only found a mugger, but I guess you guys found something." Umbra walked forward, keeping the hook in hand.

"She didn't trick me, but I figured if she led me to the outskirts of the city, I wouldn't cause as much damage as I would have in the heart of the city." Jason said, looking at Alex, "Besides, if she can destroy an entire city block isn't it better that she led me out here were there are less people?"
