Name: Sal Aston
Alias: Hellion
Gender: Male
Alingment: Neutral Evil, leans towards Chaotic Neutral when it suits him.
Age: 63
Previous Hero: Few remember the days of the brave, heroic (if a little hard-headed) duo Dagger, and his young sidekick Cloak. The two made a small name for themselves in Toronto, Canada, quickly gaining notoriety for their clashes with a team of seven superpowered adolescents. Dagger was dashing, and indeed very courageous, dashing into the fray with nothing but a pair of daggers and his wit to keep him in the fray. But he was also rather self-centered, and had a love for flair. Cloak's name actually had nothing to do with his powers, but rather indicated his style of costume.
Powers: Can shift his body into any shape, usually into the form of a weapon. However, this form of combat is too physical for him now, and he prefers to use a power he gained through use of the power serum: the ability to create and manipulate fire, with assistance from a self-taught martial art. To those who is willing to teach he calls it "Way of the Cloak and Dagger". To all others it is a string of insults with "Fu" stuck at the end.
Appearance: Hellion typically wears a large blue cloak, tightly wrapped around his body and in multiple layers.
Though the people who have seen underneath it in the last two decades number under a dozen, it shall be noted that his hair is of a light brown tint, almost red. His hair is very curly, but short. He prefers it straightened, with two tips on the sides framing his forehead curled up into devil's horns. He is clean shaven otherwise.
His skin is a pale, but healthy-looking white, and his lips are incredibly thin and always appearing somewhat stretched. His appearance is almost always stoic, though on occasion he breaks into a calm and toothless smile.
His eyes are a brilliant blue, and shine with a bit of hidden cunning.
In combat, he changes into a suit of specially-crafted heat resistant armor. The style is black, though it is patched very artistically with a bronze-orange color and bits of a silvery white. His mask is almost a helmet, and made of a very strong alloy. It only reveals his eyes in two very small holes, the rest hidden under a bronze skull shape.
Personality: Hellion is a gentleman, first and foremost. Though he may show general distaste for someone he will always try to be polite despite it. He feels that although he walks down a path that some would consider to be wrong, or indeed evil, there is no reason for him to act as a brute.
He is a great lover of irony, which partially influenced his choice of the name Hellion.
Despite his technical alignment as a villain, he is anything but devoted to the idea of evil. He is in the "business", as he calls it, for himself and no one else. He would gladly side with heroes against other villains if it suited his own machinations.
Has something of an obsession with toying with his enemies. Mind games are a favorite of his.
Biography: As it was said, little is remembered about Cloak and Dagger. The pair, for a couple of years, were celebrities around their own city.
However, a horrible incident occurred shortly into their careers. Dagger, in an attempt to evacuate a burning building, had his cape catch fire. In his attempts to put it out he tripped, and his cape was caught on a ledge. He was hung to death just slightly before the smoke had a chance to kill him. After that, Cloak retreated into obscurity, and fled Canada to parts unknown, saying goodbye to his twin brother, who was moving with the rest of the family to somewhere far away.
He would not appear until years later, and then only for a brief moment. The duo of Renegade and Paragon was becoming a household name, when Cloak suddenly reappeared from the shadows, and attacked them. Though the pair was skilled, he had far more technical ability, and left Renegade crippled, forcing Oliver to form a team of other sidekicks, and grow into his own heroic identity.
He fell off of the grid again, and would not appear until many years later, during the time skip that the Renegades were sent through by Minus and his minions. During that time he revealed his true identity to Oliver, though the Alpha-Oliver never learned it, and the two engaged in a series of sparring matches, of both the mental and physical variety. However, one day Oliver disappeared, and was replaced by his past self.
Hellion was delighted at this new arrival, getting a chance to play a whole new game from scratch, only for it to be stolen from him when Minus killed Paragon. Hellion, who had been using the AI Flit to spy on the younger Oliver, swore revenge on Minus, and decided to meet up with the other Renegades to assist them in whatever way he could.
