why does hellion think he is a renegade?

Dren backed up once more as the throbbing in his head grew harder. "What are you even talking about, I am against the renegades, and for the last time my name is Dren!" Dren said as he blocked a few of the blows with his shield and pushed it forward to knock him over.

Remember how Dragon's exposition mentioned that at one point or another they all joined the Renegades, according to Minus through brainwashing? I was going by that, and Hellion being familiar with future Cameron. He knows a little about Dren but thinks it's much more entertaining to refer to him as his other self to anger him.

Hellion took the blow from the shield, and rolled backward to try and lessen the impact. He came back up on his feet with a few bruised ribs, but was otherwise unharmed by Dren's attack. He snapped his fingers, and twin fireballs engulfed his hands as he walked back toward Minus' minion.

"You know very well who I'm talking about, Cameron." Hellion replied, insistent upon the use of his other name. "The Renegades are of particular interest to me today, and I'd really like to find them before something happens. So, I think you're going to tell me everything you know about their location so we can end this little farce. Wouldn't you agree?"

"Um, I don't think I can move it very well, and I heard that tying things tight to wound is bad unless you have nothing... but You're the only one with medical training, I think." Rachel sighed and lifted her arm slightly, wincing in pain and quickly moving it back to her side. "Huh, it's in my shoulder, I think that's above my heart, right?" She said, rushing her words.

"I was never part of the renegades you fool!" Dren yelled angrily, "Why are you attacking me if we are on the same side?"

uh julio's on top of the heli

Julio laughed and smoke rolled out of his feet and he fell into the cabin of the heli. Julio quickly took a Baretta 90two from the wall, grabbing one of the soldiers and scooting up against the wall. Julio put the gun against her head and turned his head toward the captain and the other woman soldier. "Drop your weapons or I repaint the helicopter with her blood." cackled Julio, his hands completely black, black veins running along his arms.

Why on earth would he stay on top of the helicopter?

The captain looked at Julio, and grinned. "Nice try, Julio. We're prepared for hostage situations. You kill her, and the bomb on her back goes off and takes you with her." He and the other crew members surrounded the villain, with weapons pointed at him. "Why don't you just leave before you get hurt?"

Hellion's fist clenched as Dren spoke. The fires flared into an inferno that engulfed his body, and his voice swelled into a deep growl. "We are NOT on the same side. I am in the business for myself, and no one else. Your little whelp of a master barely registered on my radar until he earned my ire for the murder of Paragon. But now I am going to kill him. To do that, I will need to find the Renegades. You, Cameron, are going to tell me their location. If you do not, I will beat you until I find some other useful information."

Hellion's old body moved with a ferocious speed as he darted in for a powerful strike at Dren's midsection.

"Their base is obvious, they don't even hide it, and minus is not my master!" Dren said angrily as he let the fist glance off of his shield. "I merely share some views with him and he supplies me with things I need.

"You think they're still at the base?" Hellion let out a loud laugh as he swatted Dren's shield to the side. "They left hours ago! Apparently your master isn't sharing intel with you as much as he should. Oh, and believe me, he is your master, and will be until you see the truth." His fires flared, and a large wall surrounded the two in a circular arena. He knew that Dren would not run, but he wanted to ensure no one would interfere.

"You see, Cameron, in another life you were one of the greatest threats to your master. You were a Renegade. Minus fears you, that's why he recruited you. He knows the only way to be safe from you is to keep you under his thumb. It's like a robber baron and his peasants. He knows they could kill him at any time, so he works to oppress them so thoroughly they could not rebel if they even wanted to."

"I go to those who are powerful, and Minus seems powerful enough." Dren said as he looked around the fire area. "I could leave him anytime but he provides me with things that to my knowing only he has"

Hellion chuckled to himself, almost a gentlemanly sort of laughter. "And you see now, the illusion is still strong. Of course you believe only he can offer you what you want. Would he still be in control if you thought you could find it elsewhere? What you are failing to grasp is that there is no reason for you to be at the bottom of the rung like this. If you wanted it, YOU could be in charge of HIM. All you need to do, is find someone on your side. You know the saying, 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend'? What I'm telling you is, all you have to do is find the right friends."

He stood still, watching the flames flicker around them. He made no move to attack after calming down, and indeed seemed to wait for Dren's response.

Dren started thinking. What if he is right... Dren calmed down slightly and forgot about the other person in his mind pushing outwards. "Fuck" Dren said as he collapsed on the ground and Cameron's armour started getting it's shine back.

"Deal" Cameron said as he flexed his fingers, finally back in control

Ana tentatively moved towards Rachel, clinging onto Ashe's hand.
"I can heal you if you'll let me?"
Ana felt terrible, what had she been doing? How could she have blacked out the way she had... Perhaps the injury she had sustained earlier had given her a concussion... Now was not the time to check, she would have to take care of herself later.

Rachel looked at Ana. "Yes, that would be good. Healers are better than medical treatment, anyway." She said as she moved her shoulder towards Ana. "Just be careful." She added. She turned to face the pilot. "You know where we're headed, right?"

Ana looked awkwardly at Alex, unsure whether she had upset her...
She moved closer to Ana and closed her eyes and concentrated her energy. For some reason she felt stronger than she had before, like she was on fire. She opened her eyes and her vision was clouded with a white glow. Everything seemed to be in slow motion, she could see Ana's aura, see her blood rushing through her.

"Try to hold as still as you can." Ana placed her hand about an inch from Rachels wound and concentrated on healing it. A white aura formed around Ana's hand and Rachel's shoulder. She felt the searing pain enter her system as she let her powers weave Rachel's skin and heal the deep wound.
"That should be it." Ana closed her eyes and the glow around her faded. She hadn't realised, but her eyes had been glowing white during the healing. She was confused when she only felt a dull ache in her shoulder where Rachel's had been. There should have been searing pain.
She slowly sidled back next to Ashe.

<spoiler=OOC>Sorry for not posting in a while, year 12 sucks...
Tomorrow, I am going on "retreat", which means I go for like 3 days.
I have told Clogged Donkey what is happening next, I hope he does a good job.

Zephyr tried to stop the shards of helicopter from hitting him, but couldn't stop all of them. A fiarly large piece flew and embedded itself into his right leg. He fell from the sky from the pain, slamming into the ground. He gasped as he hit the floor, cradling his wounded leg.

Minus wandered back and forth throughout his mansion, trying to think of reasons why the Rengades would attack Electric Shield. He couldn't think of any real reasons why, and it annoyed him. "Could they have gone there for?... No no... Maybe? Nah, they wouldn't do that. Perhaps? No, they are to weak to even try that..." he kept saying to himself as he paced back and forth.

A Man leapt out of the shadows towards Magus. He held in his hand a weapon that had electricity running through it. In hopes to stun Magus and take him as their prisoner. The man looked evil enough, perhaps the resistance could use this man to get back at Minus.

Ashe sighed, he had wasted a fair amount of his blades just in that single fight. He smiled as Ana healed Rachels wound, and then smiled more as he moved back towards him. She looked like she was in pain, so Ashe tried to comfort her by putting his arm around her. "Um, Racehl, now that your healed up, when are we getting to the next town?" he asked as he hugged Ana tightly.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Hivemind grinned from the cockpit as the two younger heroes snuggled up next to each other. "Now ain't that the cutest damn thing." The hum of the motor was a nice backdrop to the Coolio playing in the cockpit.

"I like this bird. She's a sweetie."

As Zephyr cradled his wounded leg, the blond man before nimbly hopped down next to him, hoping that Julio was too busy with the others to try and stop him. He bent over and looked at the wound, deciding that it wasn't crippling. He still had uses.

"I'll tell you again. Come with us if you want to live."

A small grunt of amusement was the only reaction Hellion gave at first. After a moment of quiet thinking he stepped closer and looked over the new armor of Cameron. "Ah, Cameron, that is you isn't it? I'd begun to wonder if Minus had eliminated you entirely. Well, now that you're back in control I'd suggest that we go rescue my subordinates, and then I can get us all out of here. Sound good to you?"

He turned around and approached the villain, Julio. He appeared to be holding one of his own hostage. "Bad idea." was all he said in response.

"Let's" Cameron said as he looked at Julio and wondered what was going to happen
