Personally, I've got nothing in particular against the tatoos (and I was neutral to optimistic about the concept art so far). With that being said, agreed on the suit. C'mon guys, his color scheme has been one of the most basic and consistent things about the character, and it's been kept through all of his iterations! What, was it too much work to at least have the shirt be purple? Looks like it's maroon.
But cosmetics, schkosmetics. As much as I wanna rant about having seen better make-up out of fan films, what's really going to make this Joker or ruin it is the actor's performance and the character's execution. And there's really no way of knowing about this before the film's release.

(I really hope Harley's not in costume on those pictures, though.) Thanks for the precision, @SonofVoorhees.

He doesn't strike me as particularly menacing or intimidating like you-know-who. Honestly, he just comes across as flamboyant.

I feel sorry for Leto. He has huge shoes to fill.

OT: Honestly I would still watch this movie. There are rumors that Batfleck was seen on the set, so not watching this movie would be like missing out on a non-Avengers Marvel movie.
Marvel made me care about the MCU. WB has done nothing to make me think they are as capable of world-building as their competition. They haven't even made me believe they can make a decent superhero movie at all post-TDK. They'll have to earn my box office ticket.

I must be blind but I don't see any face tattoos on these two pictures. What's everyone talking about? Yes, I know of that "DAMAGED" tat from the first Joker Leto reveal but I ain't seeing it here.
It's hard to see as the Damaged and J Tear drop tattoos are fairly small, but if you look at the dark line middle top of his forehead and right under his left eye. They're both clearly still there.

Are bright colors outlawed in Hollywood nowadays? I mean come on! All the colors in those screenshots are so freaking washed out. Well in the second one at least.
It looks pretty bright to me. Any washing out is likely the result of the shitty quality of the photos.

Honestly not excited about this movie. At all.

Also, why is the joker driving a super car that has Iron Man's paint scheme?
Well yeah on second look, the first one is pretty good. Still feel like the Joker's clothes should be brighter in the second one.
It doesn't matter how bright they are in real life anyway, the movie is inevitably going to slap a bunch of filters on in post production to make the movie literally more dark and gritty looking.

I'm still saving my critique on any of the characters and their portrayals until the movie has been viewed by my own eyes. I wish though that DC would do a movie with Mr. Freeze though so they could at least give me something non-cartoon/comic/video game to replace the Arnold one-liner version... its not that I hate it so much that I feel it would have been better with Adam West's Batman and not George Clooney.

It's an improvement over the reveal picture, but yeah, that forehead tattoo is still there.

Set photos always look crummy since they lacks the proper lighting and camera angle. Also, every movie these days gets put through a digital colouring filter. Not to say this movie probably won't end up looking crummy anyway.
