Least disliked band?

So, what band do you guys reckon is the least disliked in the world (past or present)? Don't necessarily have to be the most popular or most liked but the band that the least number of people dislike among those that know the band.
I'm going to have to say Motorhead at this point. Punk rockers, classic rockers, metalheads and even alot of blues listeners like this band. They'd probably be pretty disliked among the Pop/RnB/Hip Hop group but odds are those people don't know them.
Whats your opinion?

I would say The Civil Wars, because no one knows who the heck they are.

Aww yeah, I'm so hipster!

Because only the biggest fans of Johnny Yong Bosch (like me) will know of his band, and those guys aren't about to hate him.

Was gonna say this but I'm not so sure... I've met a fair number of people who don't like them just because of how popular they are.

Theres actually a fairly big group that rates them as the most over rated band in history. I'm not one of them, I really love them, but I don't think it's them.

I dislike people that hate things 'cause they're popular. It's such a copout.

Agreed, but there are people who legitimately dislike the band, possibly because they don't realise the huge influence the Beatles had on all the music that followed them.

The Valve Studio Orchestra...

Or perhaps John Williams?

Or maybe the London Symphony Orchestra....

Or possibly K'naan?

Gotta disagree. I know plenty of people who dislike the Beatles, myself included.

I don't really know who I'd say. First that came to mind was Dream Theater, but I know a lot of people aren't big into the progressive music scene. If I had my way, that's who it would be.

I just don't really like their sound, isn't my thing. Equally annoying are people who tell me I should like them because they were influential. Sure, they were influential, but so was Hitler, should we all like him now?

Anyways, I don't know who the least disliked band would be. Probably a band nobody knows about because, as mentioned above, people hate things just because they are popular.

None can argue Michael Jackson, ignoring his actions outside of the studio of course. Thriller is the best selling album in history for a reason. Many hate the man, but very few hate the music.

I would also say Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Journey, and KISS are likely not unliked.

I'd agree that musically MJ is gotta be at least one of the least hated. Of course I am basing that off pretty much nothing, so whatever.

Elvis maybe?

Led Zep - most people like them in a comfortable way, as they've been around forever and a day.

T Ride.

Not very popular, admittedly, but they're very technically proficient and have cult following that loves them.

I've never heard a single person not like them.

I'd like to think of myself as an informed disliker of the Beatles. I have nothing against them, they wrote some great music. My only major problem with them though is their status as "Greastest band ever, no room for disagreement", as I don't think that they are as good as Bob Dylan or the Velvet Underground. Both of whom I consider far more technically proficient and imaginative musicians and better lyricists.

This. I think people just say they love he Beatles even if they've never listened to them. And just for a bit of trollbait: I don't like them.
