I agree, it really didn't add anything to the Flying Pokemon bunch.

I hate that dumb fish....how isnt it extinct...i mean..and a game made by the Japanese...(i think) Wouldnt it be sushi by now? ...its most powerfull move invloved it gasping for air and flapping around

I once trained a magikarp to lvl 100, with it's only attack move being tackle, just to be able to demolish people with a MAGIKARP. Ah, good times. It was hilarious seeing the looks on my friends' faces when they saw they were about to be crushed by a stupid little magikarp that only knew tackle.

But anyway. Out of the 150, I really only hated Jynx. Stupid looking and kind of worthless because it couldn't evolve. Though even Jynx is better than the pokemon made after the silver/gold/crystal versions.

It's got insanely hard scales, has barely any meat on it, is a strong swimmer and if suspicious stranger is to be believed it breeds very fast.

...WHAT!!! Then why do you catch one every 10 seconds...i used to just have this dang thing first..switch them out. kill with other pokemon and repeat till I had a giant blue sea-creature

To echo the sentiments of many, Zubat can fuck off right now. Also Rattata and Raticate (fuck you quick attack and hyper fang!)

Also, although I don't hate it, I was incredibly disappointed when I saw Dragonite for the first time. I remember being ecstatic about catching a Dratini, and it looked really cool when it evolved into Dragonair, so I automatically assumed that the final form was going to be great. Instead I got a dragon crossed with a moomin at least it could still destroy everything...

For me it's a tie between Ditto and, Zubat.

Ditto is an unoriginal Pokemon best used to get the protagonist through a sticky plot-line. As a character in a RPG, it's pretty useless. It transforms into it's opponent, taking on it's exact skill-set and properties. This is a good way to see what options your opponent has but it isn't practical for offensive purposes (especially in Red, Blue and, Yellow)

Zubat probably wins my most hated though. Unlike Magikarp, Zubat as an investment, isn't that great. I like Magikarp because it evolves into Gyarados: A Flying Dragon. Zubat transforms into Golbat: The second fastest flying-type Pokemon in RBY. Zubat is annoying to fight because it always seems to stick the super-sonic attack. It is annoying to train because of the low defense and attack power (also: it suddenly forgets how to properly use Supersonic)

My ideal team going in to battle the Elite Four was;

Venusaur (the sleep powder+solar beam combo is effective against Gary Oak's Charizard so, HA!)
Scyther
Pidgeot
Alakazam (more realistically: Kadabra...didn't have friends to trade with)
Snorlax
Gengar (Or Haunter for the same reason as Kadabra)

Alakazam

Allow me to explain the problem with alakazam
1. hes a psychic type and in the original red and blue psychics only had one weakness which were bug types. in the original red and blue there were only like 5 bug attacks so unless you have a powerful Beedrill or Jolteon he is a tough opponent to take out
2. hes versitle, if you did have a strong beedrill then he can easily take it out with fire attack.
3. the only way you can get him is with trading... and i had nobody to trade with ;-;
4. i didnt like his design that much.

I always used a Nidoqueen with Body Slam against it. It has a really weak defense so I used that to my advantage.

I don't really have a least favourite Pokemon, at least until Stantler and Sudowoodo. But in terms of sheer annoyingness, I'll have to go with Zubat.
