Over-exposistion. You know, bringing in obscure characters from two seasons ago, give them full episodes of flashbacks, the characters telling what they've been doing down to the last damn detail. There's no mystery. Dialogue that is overwritten, craming everything they can into 2 minute long monologues for every 1 minute of action. They completely break up awesome action sequences for unnecessary, boring dialogue that leaves nothing up to imagination and throws all suspense down the drain, while simultaneously leave the impression that the writers think all their viewers are complete idiots that can't figure anything out alone.
The internal monologues are probably the worst.

I mean, animation is a medium designed for show, not tell. Shows like Bleach, Dragonball and Naruto (although this one has improved alot lately) shouldn't have to resort to tremendous amounts of craptastic dialogue when they have the funding to do the animation better. Cowboy Bebop, Baccano! and Mushishi left alot of the story to interpretation and the viewers intelligence. They kept you guessing all the while through.

And then there are the self-righteous and hypocritical protagonists who just razed a city in an epic battle to save the earth then refuses to finish the other guy, without any repercussions at all except for a possible comic relief filler sometime in the future.

what annoyes me most? the obvious being Fillers and over the top fans, its great to be a fan, and sure as long as you are sensible there are aspects of anime that you can apply to life (IE: gurren lagann, idealist additude to achieve goals=idealist view on life, and positive additude in bad situations) but people who make anime a WAY of life, those people annoy me.

Anime that takes over 50 episodes, if its 51,54, what not, I don't mind, but I don't want to go past 59, ever, *Glares at Naruto, and Bleach* people, it doesn't take over 50 episodes to GET ON WITH IT!

people who complain about english dubs, people, its translated, be happy, I don't care if it wasn't the best dub ever, I hate subtitles.

Ninja. demons, vampires, hate them all in the anime genre, never done well, and even if they were, they all try too hard to be a bad ass, and it constantly annoys me.

Fights that take more than one episode, this is only ever justified if its the LAST fight. thats it.

Explaining everything, we have EYES, we saw what happened, thank you.

ecchi anime, all of it, its not porn, its not regular anime, its soft core, barely hentai, barely standable. always bad.

"Dark" anime, kinda like the ninja vampire stuff I mentioned. similar reasons, more towards they are trying too hard to be dark, MONSTER is a good "dark" anime, Death Note isn't.

Only sometimes am i annoyed with giant weapons or super mecha stuff, but G Gundam and Gurren lagann are the only two that I didn't find to be annoying because they are entertaining first, everything else a close second.

The fact that every anime feels it needs to include atleast one love triangle in it somehow.
Ecchi anime, these seriously need to die out already.
Retarded male protagonists, who depending on genre are either self-righteous wimps or complete idiots who fail to notice basic human emotion.

The boobs ugh -_-

I mean seriously most women in anime have breasts that are too huge for a normal women.

Edit: Heres a better example on over exaggerated breasts.

Pretty much this. I'd rather see the body language of the character in question as opposed to hearing him talk about how he feels and why he feels that way.

We saw it, damnit. We don't need a ten minute exposition on something that happened two minutes ago.

Anime to me is either one of two things:

1: Something you can do in real life that's boring to watch other people do.

2: Something so far out there that there is no way you can really feel connected.

I am planning on parodying Anime like this and this is basically what it would be. Real life Situation that's boring that goes all crazy and goes far out there.

The Ecchi Fanservice.
Sometimes it just gets disgusting.

And if i wanted to go watch a show full of Breast Grabs and panty Shots id go watch porn.

The only reason its in there is to attract people to watch the series.
I can understand anime like HsotD because that's what its marketed as.
But most of the time i sit down to watch an anime only to see nothing but Ecchi for most of the series.
It chokes out the story, its degrading to some of the characters, and its got no other point than distracting viewers from the lack of an actual plot or lot development.
There are plenty of Anime and Manga that are pronominal without letting you see whats under the characters clothes.
And(this one pisses me off the most) just because its a "Romance" doesn't mean it needs Ecchi to be "Romantic".
It kills the mood and point of the series most of the time.

Fanservice.
And now because my post sucks but I still want people to read it here's a picture of boobs
Okay, I lied about the boobs, but I will sell you some lovely riverside property in Brooklyn

Captain Obvious Exposition.
For those of you who are wondering this is a post about things I don't like in anime!

Stock Footage that is just used over and over again to pad the length of the series because the writers can't come up with anything interesting.

Flashbacks of things that we've already seen happen.
Hey! Do you guys remember that one time I posted a picture of boobs on the internet? God that was so clever and unique.

Filler consisting of stupid things no one cares about.
Throwing in crap that's completely irrelevant to the plot doesn't make for "more of a good thing" it just makes for "more bad in a good thing" and eventually just a flat out "bad thing". I really like cupcakes. It's like a cake, which is awesome, except you can carry it in your hand, and it's got more frosting. Apples are pretty good too though, just don't eat the core. The core isn't good. Okay, now that that's out of the way, time for the epic conclusion to my post that everyone has been waiting for!

Over the top. Constant explanations of things that just happened. Voices are sometimes annoying. The overall sense that the writers and animators all suffer severe ADHD.

The anime face. You know what I'm talking about, the way many anime serises have no idea how to draw emotions like anger, exasperation, or sadness, so they just do a cartoony and exagerated expression. The time this pissed me off the most is when Hellsing Ultimate took Seras Victtoria and gave her these expressions, which took one of the most interesting characters in the series and turned her into something of a comic relief.
Also this.

FREAKING THIS.

In a general sense? Not the fans, but more so fan-tards, and this includes he rabid ones. You ever been around rabid yaoi fangirls? Fucking savages every one of them! o__O'

Everything else I have issues would have me nitpicking, so I'll save those for something more appropriate.

The way they shout out every single attack they're going to use. Seriously, if you were fighting someone in real life and they shouted out 'SUPER LEFT HOOK ATTACK!' and then tried to hit you with a left hook, you would dodge it and punch them in the face.
