He is pretty cool. I can't play him worth a damn, sadly (Armor King's more my type).

I'm trying not to. I just liked her a lot (character and gameplay-wise).

He reminds me a lot like Jann Lee from DOA. But since there isn't anyone like him in Virtua Fighter 5, Jann Lee/Marshall Law are a good 2nd choice.

I think I would have liked that game if I had been able to sit through all that bullshit that they called story and character development.
And your main character just whined... ALL THE TIME. Its like jesus fucking christ... "oh noooo all the people around me like me and enjoy my presence... how terrible"

I really dont like any character like that... in any medium. But they all seem to be from japan.


So my official answer will be:
Brooding bitchy heroes that can never be happy even though people like them and want to be around them for some goddamn reason. Even when he always kills the mood

I think a lot of the Cloud hate comes more from the post-game releases than it does from the actual game. I never saw him as a whiny emo kid in the game, I always thought he was just the distant quiet and psychologically messed up military expert who really had a grudge against Sephiroth. It wasn't until Advent Children that I started to hate him.

VAAN. PENELO. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN DOING IN THIS PARTY.

I also hate those two. I liked ALOT of things from FF12, but you could pretty much take Vaan out of the story and nothing would really change and children make horrible main characters (which is the reason I stopped playing at about 80% completion). A less fruity Balthier would have been a much better main protagonist.

I also hate Master Chief and Gordan Freeman because of the undeserved pedestal they stand upon. Let the flaming begin.

Disciple from KOTOR II. Definitely the creepiest and most obsessive character. And it is especially hard to get away from him if you are playing a LS female.

I feel like going and washing myself every time I play that game now.

Now I apologise for my language- I'd also like to say I very much dislike Luigi. I don't like Mario all that much, but Luigi is just so superfluous. "Oh look I'm a green lanky clone of an over-used franchise... ...also I'm a racist sterotype"

Fate/Stay Night. She's the main love interest during the Heaven's Feel route.

I have a theory that it's not so much an anti COLETTE fandom as it is a "pro-everyone else" fandom. The game's creator is... BIASED toward Colette in a large number of ways. Though we do get alternate endings, they're just short little scenes before a big HEY IT'S REALLY COLETTE finish. The creator stated in interviews that she's canon and declared the terrible manga to be the canon events of the game. Basically she's just SHOVED IN OUR FACE ALL THE DAMN TIME. It makes the alternate paths almost pointless save for Kratos vs Zelos. One of the sequel's good points is that it let's you pick who Lloyd paired up with.

...are you sure? I thought the ending paired him up with whoever he had the most affection points with, who joins him on the journey at the end (except Kratos, in which case Colette is the default). And that that's what the scene in Dawn of the New World is referencing.
