Mostly rap, but there are exceptions for me at least (I happened to love Crack a Bottle by Eminem xD). But Country, I just can't do it.

Heavy Metal
Modern metal is without a doubt the most creativly and culturaly bankrupt musical genra in history, no exceptions.
Only the popular bollux maybe.
Feel free to name any niche metal band you like, and I will be more than happy to tell you why they suck.

For me whether or not I like the music depends on the lyrics. I find them pretty important. So I don't like a lot of drum and bass stuff where the singer just appears to be going "Hobbedybobedy hipdipdadoodaboobedywoobedyhibblebibblewibdobbanjo"

Other than that I'm OK with all music really.

Sorry was merely quoting this video for a laugh.
Now I see the source it's ok. That song's brilliant
That song is a parody of ''Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire'' by the way. Good song, indeed.
As for me, i don't like pop music. (not popular, but music called ''pop music'', it's not the same thing!) The whole B. Spears, Beyonce, Lady gaga things. I don't like it and i don't like their fans.

I bet tonnes of people say rap.

I don't really hate styles all together, probably could find a song I enjoyed, even in a stupid IT'S JUST A FUN SONG kinda way.
Yes, TONS of people hate rap.

I just don't like the screamo yelling thing. To me singing is just as important as the music itself and it's nice to know what the hell they are saying. I don't automatically hate anything with screamo in it, I really like some of the riffs In Flames wrote but unfortunatly I don't enjoy it as much because of the screamo bit.
Are you correcting my spelling here? A ton and a tonne are different things, no?
Actually I was agreeing with you but your right, I do come of as some spelling nazi. I know tonne is metric ton and thats fine too.

The thing is rap is probably the most hated genre out of all, that is a lot of people. I hear it everyday "rap is always about hoes N drugs" or "it's not music", well actually the second one is true for most rap but their are a lot that have interesting melodics.
Oh good, I'm a bit scared of the grammar nazis.

I love some rap, it's really quite annoying when people claim it's all about bitches and hoes. Even if it is, there's lots of other subjects that it deals with and even when it is about 'stereotypical' rap subjects it can still be bloody good. Every style of music has it's stereotypical subjects or whatever, whether it's whiney indie boys singing about girls or metal bands singing about satan or some shit.

As for dismissing something as 'not music', I can't take anyone who would do that seriously. You mightn't like it, but it's certainly still music.
Well they are technically correct, there is a lot of rap out there that doesn't have melody and rapping isn't singing. However like I said before, there are some with really good melodics so those particular songs do include as music.

Anything that's not Heavy Metal or some Hard Rock. I know it sounds elitist, but there's something about the complexity that just sets Metal apart from everything else. (At least for metalheads)

Assuming we're talking about the same thing..
Robotic Voices are called Autotune. Autotune's main purpose is to correct singers who can't stay in tune. And I couldn't agree with you more. I hate that goddamn thing. Sounds absolutely horrible.

Gangsta rap (as opposed to political or nerdcore) and country. Of course, a friend of mine would say I'm referring to fake country, as opposed to real country like Willie Nelson.

I'm with you on that, I can't stand when people at my school do that stupid beatboxing thing. Everyone does it and it isn't cool in the slightest

But in my own opinion, probably rappers on the radio that either just suck or constantly act like they're godly and all women want to have sex with them. They have no lives
