I cracked up at that scene. "Hey Batman here's your stuff can I help you?" "No, Robin just go back to Gotham!"

hahahaha This also brings up the point that Batman was a total asshole in AC.

You gotta keep Robin in check otherwise he gets ideas and then gets his head caved in with a lead pipe. I think my least favorite part of the game was Wonder Tower, but only because the elevator ride was so damned slow (and you backtrack later to collect everything) and there is this whole vista of Gotham City and Arkham City right below you, and you can't glide anywhere off the tower itself.

As for Catwoman, she's extremely fast, at least in combat, but her ability to maneuver through the streets of Gotham was a little cumbersome. If they tweaked her climbing ability a little it would have made all the difference. Either way, I'm glad she's in there. Gimme more, not less.

Couple of things, story-wise, nothing, LOVED IT.

Now mechanics, I think the catwoman "parkour system" sucks. It's so hard to master, hell, I never got good at it. I just think the system could be a little bit more intuitive.
Apart from that, there are a couple of ocassions when you want batman to hang, and he vaults and when you want him to vault and he hangs, it's like there is no parameter on that aspect.

I really enjoyed the game over all, I loved the writing, the combat, stealth, ending when
Batman walks toward the cops and he puts the body on the trunk and walks away, I just hope Joker is dead, you see, I would feel like that would be Deus Ex Machina if Joker miraculously survives, I'd rather have the next game Batman fighting with his demons and the fact that he is crazy and the joker is dead.

I really hated backtracking through the ice at the Iceberg Lounge, walking slow on the ice waiting for that shark to eat me just racked my nerves.

The fact that Robin barely appeared, and that the Catwoman sections really don't tie into the plot very well. Aside from that, I loved it.

The fact that Catwoman doesn't have some sort of glide.

Having to actually climb shit sucks big time when Batman can fly across the entire city.

I felt the bits when you go after Penguin were a bit slow but that was probably because I wanted to get back to fighting Joker again. I also didn't like that Two Face and Robin only showed up once. It seemed like they were shoved in for the hell of it. Apart from that I loved it. The end left me staring at the screen for about 5 minutes in shock. Did not see it coming.

That Catwoman came with the game but as a download. I don't have the internet on my PS3 so I still can't use her. Suuucky. Also the 900 Riddler Trophies that don't unlock things. Some do not all.

Joker is most certainly dead. Mark Hamil has retired his Joker voice, and I doubt they'll bring anyone else to take over his mantle. He is THE Joker after all.

OT: I didn't really enjoy the Penguin part except that one moment. You know what I'm talking about.

Actually, Mark Hamil re-tweeted that he would do the Joker voice for another Arkham game, or if they wanted to make an animated version of Alan Moore's "The Killing Joke." So basically, he will do the Joker again. I mean honestly... What else is he going to do?

So goddamn annoying. Had to mute it before I went crazy.
I thought that
Ra's Al Ghul's
death was kinda lacklustre, especially after the boss fight earlier on. I don't think even think he was mentioned at all afterwards.

The back tracking for all the Riddler tasks, it was fine in Arkham Asylum since it was small enough and there weren't that many, but Arkham City feels huge when you are traveling all over it (I'll accept it probably isn't that large, but it certainly feels it, which is bad when you need to travel back and forth), and there are so many Riddler tasks to do that it takes ages to get them done.

That said however, the challenge rooms where you have to save his hostages were entertaining and worth the annoyance of doing all the tasks.

Also, I hated the ending, not because it was bad (It's up there in my best endings for a game ever) but simply because it depressed me so much
Joker was easily my favorite villain, and when he died I found myself sounding like the inmates in the game, saying things like "he can't be dead". Though, while I'm sad to see him die, I think it was probably the best time for him to leave the series before the character was ruined by dragging him though too many sequels.
though to be honest I think it was largely done because Mark Hammel was not going to do the voice of Joker anymore, which I suppose is better than replacing him with another actor.

The thing with that is Ras will be back, he always comes back, he was even dead in Arkham Asylum, he just has to wait for one of his followers to toss him back in the Lazarus Pit and he'll be back up in no time, because of that his death really can't have much weight, and would look silly if they tried

The map being a vague little ***** whenever i look for Riddler trophies (55 trophies left!)

Also "physical riddles" What.The.Fuck that makes no fucking sense "I shall prove my great intellect by making you glide across the city like a twat!"
