I think the combat is the game's weak link. It's just far too repetitive. I finished the main game 100%, but I can't imagine me wanting to do all those challenge rooms that are just endless brawls. The predator rooms are much more to my liking.

Augmented Reality.

SUCKED.
Fuck that stupid AR training... my god. Frustration city. Awful, awful addition.
The first four were easy. The next four were pretty damn hard. I especially had trouble with the one that starts at the bank and has you go by the museum. It's pretty hard on its own, but there's a ton of armed thugs in the area, so it's wise to take those guys out.

Honestly that it went to a near open world. Arkham Asylum was brilliant in that it was what Metroid other M should have been, cramped quarters in third person view, with intuitive controls.

the sand box was too big, and despite the fact that Batman is dying the entire game, you have no sense or urgency, so it is easy to get sidetracked.

I think my least favourite part was penguins accent.

Also I found a pregnancy test in the managers office of the steel mill next to Harley's old outfit. It read positive *raises eyebrow*.

I also vote the Augmented Reality...Also sometimes it's just irritating when you have to wade through loads of 'goons' just to get somewhere you don't particually need to go for the sake of some riddler trophy.
Alos the end fight had me going a bit "meh"..But I understand that wasn't the point of the game.

I honestly loved almost the entire game (even the Augmented Reality sections, they gave a great feeling of accomplishment when completed), but I have two small nitpicks:

1. The scene with Robin. I feel that Batman was really kinda a dick to Tim for no good reason.

2. The final Catwoman section. Catwoman is not very good at the predator sections. The fact that she can't glide, plus a lack of gadgets to take advantage of those sections made this part of the game a chore. Not only that, but the fact that the ONLY way to beat it is to take out Two-Face. I died more in that part than in any other part of the game. (really not looking forward to that section again in New Game Plus)

Maybe he's still mad that Tim was nowhere to be found during the asylum disaster. I was actually waiting for that to come up

Batman: Where were you!
Robin: Well I was gonna come help, but then Stephanie called and was all like "oh robin. Your staff is so long. Can I come over and polish it for you?"
Batman: A hundred people died!

OP: I guess the thing that bothered me the most was the Riddler missions. I loved the puzzles and the rooms, but at some point scouring the entire world looking for all the trophies just started to feel like busywork.

Add to that, the last trophy I collected before Oracle found riddler's hideout was in the steel mill, in the water right in front of a pair of giant churning screws.

"Oracle, I need to call you ba- Barbara. Barbara! I really can't talk right n- The ice I'm standing on is literally breaking apart as you're talki- God I can't wait for Flashpoint to un-cripple you"

Also, the "You created these monsters" idea has been explored a dozen times before and it makes even less sense in this context

The story was kind of lame. I mean, I know that I shouldn't expect a really GREAT story out of a Batman video game, but there were little flaws that bugged me throughout the whole game. If the Joker wanted me to find the cure and save him, why did he send truck loads of thugs at me? If Mr. Fries wanted me to find his wife, why did he kill me 4 or 5 times before I finally caved his stupid dome in? The story was very short, and wasn't very creative. Other than that, and a few other minor complaints, the game was solid.

Easily for me is the fact that you can't glide over the barbed wires around Wonder Tower. Why the heck not? That means if I'm in the bottom left of the map, and I want to get to the bottom right of the map, I need to travel up and around Wonder Tower to get there instead of gliding over it. Super annoying when I'm doing side quests and collecting.

The floating ice sections....all of them. It's like, I'm the F'N Batman. I don't need to float on a hunk of ice...wait..Can't use the line launcher for some arbitrary reason like Rocksteady wants me to use the ice grenade for something other than freezing dudes for laughs.

Arkham City was perfect, apart from the part where you have to fight Solomon Grundy. And even that could have been fun if he hadn't had five phases, or at least had some difference between them.

that if you climb strait up to the top of the big fuck off tower you cant dive bomb strait down to the ground.

you just hook shot back up to the half way point.

I hated it too at first, but I guess it makes sense given his backstory.
Yeah it makes sense its just its a really bad cockney accent. I wasn't saying that I hated cockney accents, just his.

His body was dumped near Gotham City when he first died. Sure he's prevailent in Green Lantern but I'd always consider him to be a Batman villan.

Another least favourite part...

Four Hundred Riddler Trophies. Some of which require a use for the Explosive Gel they do NOT explain at all.

Batman walks toward the cops and he puts the body on the trunk and walks away, I just hope Joker is dead, you see, I would feel like that would be Deus Ex Machina if Joker miraculously survives, I'd rather have the next game Batman fighting with his demons and the fact that he is crazy and the joker is dead.
Joker is most certainly dead. Mark Hamil has retired his Joker voice, and I doubt they'll bring anyone else to take over his mantle. He is THE Joker after all.

OT: I didn't really enjoy the Penguin part except that one moment. You know what I'm talking about.
Yeah, I don't think it would be something the writer would do but
There has been some speculation of some easter eggs hinting that he is still alive. I hope not

The lack of a shark repellent joke. Seriously, you had the perfect opportunity for Alfred to make the joke! C'mon, Rocksteady!!!
