My least satisfying ending was for Overlord. When they pulled that damn plot twist out of the bag, it really pissed me off.

Assassin's creed had you walk around an empty room until you decided to quit the game
Go into the back room and use your visual skill thingy it brings up a secret message and get the credits.

It's still lame though
It is...that ending irritated me so much.
It wasn't helped by the utter tedium of reaching it either...

Fable 2.
no boss fight
no real closure (what with Theresa saying what she does)
and if you make the wrong choice Hammer gives you a verbal *****-slap (made worse by the fact that if you make the 'good' choice she says she wouldn't have been able to make the same choice, but if you amke the choice she would have made, she tears a strip off you. fat whore)
and Reaver never gets his comeuppence(sp?)

Shenmue. You feel like something's actually starting to happen, and the end credits start rolling. Devs -- ending a game with "to be continued" is acceptable if you KNOW you're going to release a sequel or expansion VERY SOON (as was planned with Shenmue), but ffs, and least end it in such a way that you feel like you've beaten a GAME, not just won another boss fight.

The End of Dead Rising. The REAL ending. I stared at my TV screen for a few minutes before shouting a few obscenities. There just didn't seem like there was any closure.

Here's hoping Dead Rising 2 helps that a little.

Amagon. Don't know what it is? Well yeah it's by no means reacent, but the ending in it's entirety is;

A picture of your guy smiling at the camra giving a thumbs up, and the words "you survived your mission the end".

Then it goes back to the title screen.

Bioshock, it has to be Bioshock.

I only completed the game once, where I got the evil ending and when the final cutscene finished playing...I was really disappointed.

Yeah, as Yahtzee says, the two endings you get for BioShock are split between being a Saint & being Satan incarnate.

I haven't played either but the endings to Sonic & the Black Knight and the Afro Samurai videogame made me go "What The Fuck" a little.

(SPOILERS)
Sonic ends with him becoming King Arthur (making me nervous on the possibility of there being an "actual" sequel), and Afro Samurai's ending is different from the anime; he gives up seeking revenge for his father and throws away the Number 1 headband instead of wearing it. If that's so, you think he could have thought of the idea that "revenge isn't the answer" before killing a bunch of people to get it (that was also my problem with Afro Samurai Resurrection, but I'm not going into that). So Yeah.
