Hey escapist, I'm currently writing a song, i'm trying to make it a single cause I think it has that sort of feel. Its about wanting to be alone....i have fragments but I want it to be really human.

So why do we want to be alone sometimes, any stories? I often find that after a relationship has ended you don't want to talk about it which is strange, we just dwell over and over but theres kind of something beutiful there aswell...its not depression its saddness.

I realize this is generic subject matter...but i'll make it weird...its what I do

Well, different people, different needs. I know for myself, that I prefer to be alone, because, well, because I like my own company and a lot of the stuff I do is something I wish to do alone, like reading, listening to music, playing video games. I know the last two can be done by more than one person, it's just not the way I prefer it. On the other hand, I know a lot of my friends, who love hanging out with each other and be with other people all the time, but I don't really see the need for doing that all the time. It's nice, occasionally, but not all the time.

Also, while reflecting on different things, new experiences and things like that, it's better to be aloen with your own thoughts, in order to think things through and not be disturbed.

Anyway, that's my two cents on the subject, take it for what you will.

Being alone is tranquil...maybe? I dunno, I just like not having to listen to others. Most other people are annoying

i dont know about you guys, but i dont like people. being alone is the best state to be in.

I prefer being alone, i don't mind about 2 or 3 people i know well, but i am wunna dem lone wolves i guess. Except i can't do anything by myself...

kinda sucks

No, there is no hot girl in my room, the female voice you heard was just me practising for a play I'm going to be in.

That's what I would say if I wanted to be alone......with a girl.

Apart from that, maybe because I'm playing WoW and I really need to get to level 60 without being disturbed :/

I like being alone because of the stillness and silence. There's nothing like being absolutely alone in your house and playing your favorite game, or reading a good book. Being alone with your thoughts is something that comes less and less frequently in this modern, fast paced society. Cherish whatever alone time you get.

For me, sometimes I just need to be alone.
People often say that there's no use being alone, and that whatever you need to be alone about can be solved by talking to somebody.
For about 98% of the time for me, that's true.

But there are sometimes that no one else can help you; feel what you're feeling; or give advice.
Sometimes you just need to figure out what to do on your own.
